When we first moved into our rental home we over estimated the amount of space in our daughters room so instead of using the two separate twin beds (that we had just purchased brand new) we had to come up with a new solution and quickly. Now we wanted to avoid bunk beds bc in all honesty my children Im sure like many others are a bit of a wild bunch a little daredevils so we had a fear of injury. After searching at all other options we finally came back to bunk beds being our best option. When I found these that seemed to be lower to the ground I had a way easier time accepting them. After husband assembled them I immediately fell in LOVE they were perfect and both kids had no issues being safe and I slept at night with peace of mind that they were fine.
If your a worried parent as my self with two little daredevils of your own dont think twice on this set.
The bunk bed was easy enough to put together. Took a few hours with the help of a couple 4 year olds and a 2 year old. The ladder could be secured a bit better, although Im not sure how with its design. My twins like to raise the ladder off the ground, which bends the bracket holding it to the top bunk. Also, the slats could be sanded down to smooth them out. I got 2 splinters the first time I went to pick up the bundle of slats. I ended up buying some white paneling to install around the slats - under the slats so they were no long exposed and on top of the slats to make it easier to change the sheets.
When putting in the white boards for the head/foot boards, use painters tape to hold it together - made it so much easier.
Perfect for my girls! The 4 year old is on the bottom, 7 year old on the top. The height allowed us to leave the fan up and allows us to reach the daughter on the top without climbing up. Good va,use for the money.
Our girls are young, 3 and 4, and this bed is absolutely perfect. I put it together while my husband was at work with no troubles at all!! Its so sturdy, I can even lounge on top with my oldest and she doesnt have a hard time going up or down. I would buy this again everytime!!
Everything was perfect!! And wanted to add my8 year old sleeps on top just fine. Me and my 4 year old sleep on the bottom bunk when hes scared. Its worth every penny.very sturdy

We also wrapped the metal bar under the top bunk in pipe foam. I then covered the top slats in a star and cloud fabric. My girls love it! The top railing isnt very sturdy, but its not necessarily a safety issue. We check it frequently. Overall its a nice bunk, a space saver, and a decent price. We purchased the clay. 2 pics included.

These bunks are sturdy! Took 8 hours to assemble two sets. Great for lower ceilings and younger children. Very pleased!
