This is an all around great bed especially for the price! Took me 2 hours to put it together by myself. They are a lot of pieces but once you put it together its very sturdy! Super happy with my purchase!
I purchased this for my 12 year old 110 lb girl. She even helped put it together. It took about 4 hours, but Im adhd lol. It wasnt that hard, and its nice and sturdy. Hubby didnt want it, but as soon as we (me) put it together he said WOW its nice.
The kids love it, my youngest couldnt wait for me to build it when I got home. The way the eyes of my boys began to glow as it began to take shape is a joy I wish for others to experience. And now my two girls want one of their own, just got to wait to see which color they want for themselves.
Blue, Removable Loctite was used on the screws during assembly as metal bed frames will loosen up over time.
This is a budget frame but well worth the $152 I paid. we added a couple Linenspa Hybrid Mattresses from and had a very comfortable bunk bed setup for less than $450.
It looks nice as well.
And quickly realised we were making an error and once we fixed it it went up fairly easily. This was for our two girls, one is 10, the other 5 1/2, and this works so perfectly for them! The space save design is perfectly functional and works great. Our girls also share a room with their baby brother who is 7 1/2 months and in a crib, and this bunk bed fits in the room with the crib and room to move and doesnt feel to cramped! Its not a very big room either, typical apartment kids room, on the smaller side, yet this space saving design makes the room feel bigger!
This bunk bed is actually good for the money we spent on it. 1. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO IT ALONE! 2. The box that it comes in is SO heavy 3. The directions are really clear and easy to follow BUT the little stair piece was missing screws but I had some extra screws at home that fit so it wasnt a big deal but if you find yourself looking for the stair screws it might be that it wasnt included! It took me and my brother roughly 4hours to put it together! It goes by fast but it take a while. Word of advance and they say this in the direction DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN THE SCREWS UNTIL YOU ARE DONE we had to go in and loosen some of the screws cause we tightened them
