Kind of annoying that the bed is shipped in two boxes and mine was delivered two weeks apart. Other than that the bed is awesome! The kids love!!it and it give them much more space in their room. Decent quality and my son loves the USB port for charging.
My only complaint was that the shipping time for this bed was unacceptable. It took a month to get here. That being said， the company was responsive in their messages and worked with me to make sure we were taken care of. I appreciated that as their responsiveness and professionalism was reassuring to product quality. The bed itself is very sturdy. My husband said it was not difficult to put together (instructions were not as bad as some other reviews made it seem). He even modified it so the shelving would be on the other side to work in the room， and the materials were sturdy enough for him to work with. My kids are so happy with this bed. The guard rail is a good size. The bookshelf is deeper and taller slots than I thought it would be (perfect for functionality a fitting larger kids books). It is just overall a fantastic purchase and definitely worth the money and the time it took to get here. Just buy it!
It was easy to build. My 2 kids and I built it together. The instructions are easy to follow because they label all the parts by letters and screws with numbers.
We assembled the bed yesterday， and with kids trying to help， it did take a little longer than it probably would others， but it was a fun family project. The kids all slept on the beds last night， and they love!!it. The shelves on the side are perfect to fit their toys， and the trundle bed is so easy to slide out， easier than others weve had before. So I do recommend this bed， as does my 3 boys.
This bunk bed is much less expensive but similar quality to those at Rooms to Go and other discount furniture stores. It is relatively easy to assemble and looks nice! My tall 7 year old fits fine and has really enjoyed her new bed.
