bought this desk after having to come home with non of my supplies from college after schools shut down due to corona. desk was a bit hard to build, but is overall pretty good. has a slight wobble
The Desk is very good for a single person wanting to work on a desk with Laptop/PC, fits very well in my small space room.
It is very sturdy and does not move love it
I bought this to provide an extra workspace inside our house during the Corona lockdown, its all made off lengths of faced chipboard and the finish is slightly off in places, but for £44 its perfect for what we need for the next while. I was able to build it in about 25 minutes using an electric screwdriver.
For the price a great deal. The top shelf says it can hold 10 lbs, main shelf 30 lbs, bottom shelf 10lbs. Seems to do fine with one good sized monitor on the top shelf with decor. Its a decent height and I can use a good size keyboard and mouse on it. Can be a little shaky when bumped but I can use it for work just fine and its good for my design work.
Definitely built very cheap, so be delicate with it. At this price point its either a cheap desk or something thrifted. The screws show too, and the wood chips easily. Pros: its cute! I love the shelf space it comes with, and its small so great for my small room. Good for a college student
I was able to put the desk together in about an hour with no assistance and only a phillips screwdriver (plus the included hex key). The steel frame is lightweight but sturdy, and overall the desk is very stable. The material is all manufactured wood, with the typical joints. The finish is smooth but looks like they photographed a rustic wood texture and printed it on the veneer. The only downside is the flimsy drawer, I would not put any weight on it for fear it will collapse. Maybe it was intended to hold a few sheets of paper? Anyway, looks great and was about half the price of similar designed desks. My 21 iMac fits perfectly on the desk without any clearance issues. The footprint is small, so it is great for a bedroom or dorm, and the shelf is an added plus. Hardware was complete and instructions very clear.
