After a few months of use, i started to notice i was falling to middle of my bed during the night. My first thought was, i was getting fat or my bed had enough of my crap. The bed i have is Layla memory foam mattress with a firm and soft side. I had it on the soft side, so i decide to flip over to the firm side and while doing so, i noticed the metal middle part was completely bent and offering no or little support to the bed.
I personally did not assemble the bed. My husband did and I don't think had any issues with putting it together. What really disappointed me was the first night of use one of the wooden slats broke
So this is a super nice bed. My husband had it up in no time. The only thing I dont really care for is how heavy it is! We cant even move it to put it up against the wall. Also we have a queen size bed but there seems to be some of the under part showing where the mattress sits on.
The bed frame looks great after assembled. The drawers did take longer than expected to build but they're very spacious. I ended up in needing to contact customer service on the company's website because the legs on my frame didn't come with the plastic feet, which is a problem due to the possibility of the legs ruining my floor and the center bar has a leg that comes a few inches off the ground. I submitted a request with all the info and a week later it got denied. Of course, I don't have another bed to use so I had to supplement Styrofoam to place under the feet as a temporary solution. I had to then email customer service to explain that no, the plastic feet are not on ANY of the legs even though they're supposed to be manufactured with thr plastic feet already on them. It felt more like an argument with customer service than a conversation to get the issue fixed. CS wanted pictures of all the legs to prove that the plastic feet aren't. I havent been able to do it yet and I'm not sure if I did send them pictures to prove that there are missing parts that I would actually get them without having to do more steps for these parts that the company seems to want to be absolutely sure I'm not ripping them off (or so it feels). After seeing the end product I feel like this should have a $300 price tag on it
It's cheap so it is what it is, cheap. Wasn't difficult to assemble but that's also how you discover why it's cheap. I used my own 4mm ball end hex drive to assemble it. Part way through I used the one provided and it didn't last. It looks good, it won't survive a move or being taken apart very well but, again, it's cheap. I don't know how long it took to assemble but I drank 4 margaritas before I was done.
Packing had the upholstery sticking on top so when opening the box it was damaged. Had to reupholster the headboard. Took about 2 hours to assemble. Its a sturdy bed but your feet kick the drawers when you stand near the bed. Drawers are very large. I do not have carpet on the floor not sure how they would work on carpet
Noticed bed sagging so we decided to flip the mattress and 5 slats are broken. I dont know the slat part number to request a replacement.
We will probably put plywood under it to for a platform.

Customer service sucks. Feel like I overpaid

Bad packaging. Do not open with razor blade.
