Bed overall is great buy. I only left a star out because as much as I love the storage, it kicks butt that it has to completely aligned to lock. Husband assembled the bed and when I asked him, he like everything about it
Ive been looking for a storage bed with a velvet headboard for months and finally ordered this! It was easy to assemble and very sturdy, the drawers are plastic but very big, everything is very durable
I've since replaced this bed but not because it wasn't well-made, just because I found a larger/better headboard and side/foot benches. The drawers on this bed are very spacious though.
This bed was about what I had expected for the price I got it for (about $300). The bed is durable and the quality is much better than beds on the more expensive range. I love the design of the wooden slats as it is curved but flattens when weight is placed on it. This eliminates the problem of the mattress sagging into the bottom of the bed. The assembly was easy, and the fact that the screws came in labeled packets was extremely helpful. The parts of the bed were not too heavy and they were easy to screw in for the most part. However, I would say that screwing the legs into the sides of the bed was a little big challenging as you have to install them while lifting up the frame of the bed. I would also warn that the headboard looks much higher in the picture, as the bed plus a 10 inch mattress takes up about half the height of the bed.
Time consuming to build but directions were easy to follow
Great value for my spare room. Would not be good for every day use in my opinion but is perfect for guests

Spare room bed
