Great bed. Very difficult to get together w/mislabeling

This thing was a monster to put together, but primarily bc two pieces were mislabeled (stickers on pieces), so I had to figure out why it wasnt working right then take it half way back apart to redo it. Not fun. At all. It took me about 4.5 hours to put together. But we got it done it looks great is highly functional for us. It was unfortunate that two pieces were wrongly labeled.

    My daughter loves this!!

I ordered this so my daughter would have a desk and a bed which going this route takes up less room in her bedroom. This went together pretty easily. Definitely takes two people to build. My mom and I did it. My daughter absolutely loves it!

    Beast mode!

People said these were a beast to put together, and they weren t lying! We bought two and it took over 9 hours total to put both together. The F and the G were switched in the directions too. However! I love them. They are sturdy, there is a ton of desk space, and my kids are finally able to really spread out for remote learning, art, music, and all the other things they do throughout the day. These are exactly what we needed!

    I m impressed

I ve assembled a fair amount of furniture over the years. This one required only a screwdriver and a hex tool (provided) but I did use a power screwdriver (be careful not to over tighten). It took me only 2 hours to put this together by myself (you will need a second person to lift and place the top bed).. It ships in a surprisingly small box and arrived undamaged. The instructions were clear but take your time to observe the position of the parts as you put this together. All and all this was a good value for the money.

Shipping was SLOW, but the bed desk are great

Our box came looking like it had been to war so I was quite concerned about the product but everything was in perfect condition! So extra credit to the interior packaging! Total build took us 3.5 hours but that includes one fifteen minute break and one major direction issue! We used a drill rather than the provided allenkey but made sure to have it on a low power setting and not to very tighten. Wed probably still be working if we had just used the allenkey. We also did need the recommended rubber mallet as some of the wooden dowels used for assembly did not want to go in. The issue we had was that the lower headboards support the desk and they have a correct direction that is not indicated in the directions. Thanks to some quick thinking we were able to correct the issue without too much trouble but it cost us about a half hour to so. The product seems like it is made from quality wood. We didnt encounter any splitting and after building the bed and desk seem quite sturdy. The biggest issue didnt have to do with the item itself but the delivery. It took quite awhile for it to come and I had paid for delivery on a particular date and time and they missed the delivery date and I had to wait five additional days. Since I had already sold the bed we had my daughter ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a week. So definitely build in some extra shipping time to your plan.

Beautiful and Fun But a Project to Assemble

Tons of assembly required. It s also HUGE and there s not a lot of room to sit up on the bottom bunk. I have a house in my house. My kids love it and sleep great in it, but brace yourself for an afternoon of assembly. I have no idea how I ll disassemble it when moving time comes. I wish the curtains were held on by something more difficult to tear down than Velcro, but it s easy to alter yourself if you chose. It s quite a statement piece, and looks really awesome, but if you re not much of a DIY-er, and plan to move eventually, I d probably go for a simpler designed bunk bed.
