It is what you should expect for this price range but its not as comfortable as I would think it should be. The padding along the front edge looks like it will be comfy but it isnt a real comfortable chair.
Our chair arrived, and both the product and box were in good condition. When we opened the box what we believe to be moisture beads spilled all over our floor and we have been picking them up for days. They are clear in color and feel like little stones when you step on them. The bag they were in was broken possibly during the packing. We are happy with the product but very unhappy with the mess caused by the spill.
Love these chairs (taupe and cream medallion). We were trying to coordinate with an existing pair of chairs and a rug. I knew they would work if the colors were true to how they appear online. They were absolutely true to color. Plus they seem very well built and are super comfortable. Would (and may!) buy again.
I bought 2 of these chairs and 2 of the swoop arm chairs with the same fabric. I like them all. I read most earlier comments before I bought, so I expected assembly to be tricky. The chairs arrived in a terrible cold snap, so I waited until the next day to unpack them and assembled them over 2 days, waiting to tighten. The fabric is not velvet, instead akin to canvas. Pattern is printed on the fabric, not woven. So beware if you are looking for luxurious fabric because this is not it. The chairs met my expectations in every way. The total I paid (including tax, etc.) was 210 apiece for the swoop arm chairs and about 200 for the side chairs; I think a bit over priced but delivery was fast. I did not shop in person in furniture stores because of covid (immuno/compromised) so I did no comparison shopping as I would normally. The side chairs are very straight and medium firm, exactly what I wanted. Swoop arm chairs very comfortable (I am 6 ft and 128 lbs). I have not used the chairs yet so cannot comment on long term durability.
I have purchased this 2 chair set twice about a year apart and they match exactly. May buy 2 more for my large dining table. I assembled both in about 30 minutes. Very nice chairs. I get a lot of compliments on them.
