Assembly was pretty easy. If you have your own actual tools, assembly would be even easier. Attach arm sides and the legs basically. Anyways as for comfort, sitting and using as a sofa is pretty good. As for the sleeper side of it, not so much. The crease that separates the seat from back rest (middle of the sleeper) is very hard. A large adult is not recommended in my opinion. This would be great for kids or teenagers to have for sleepovers. I would pay close attention to the dimensions as I thought the back rest would be a bit taller. As an adult it only goes up to middle back. So overall I think a 4 out 5. I would improve that middle part that is hard to sleep on, make the back a bit taller as sofa, and perhaps a bit more cushiony. For 350 (thats what I paid) I think its a bit overpriced. If they would fix what I mentioned it would be an easy 400 dollar sofa sleeper. Again this is all my opinion.

I wanted something that works in a small space. My husband and I are retired and have downsized. I like the Mid century modern look. My husband put it all together in about an hour and a half. I will say its not the most comfortable piece of furniture we own. I mostly was interested in having something for great grand kiddos to sleep on when they come to visit. My husband doesnt like it as much as I do. But I think he would have if I had gotten it in any other color but pink. Oh well after 46 years of marriage a pink couch is the least of his worries. Lol.
I bought 4 chairs. One of them poor quality. In the place where the chair is attached to the base, it is impossible to fix it strongly; this makes the chair stagger and sit on the hem is bad and unstable.
Great and easy setup. Before buying, I read plenty of reviews that said the sofa is hard. I find it soft, comfortable, and sturdy. However, when the sofa is flat, lying on the backrest part of the sofa will have you falling over if you dont have anyone or anything on the opposite side to balance you. Other than that, its really cute and does the job for now. Ill be back in a few months to update my review.
The futon isnt bad, especially for the price. Very easy to assemble, took maybe an hour while watching TV and not really focusing on the task. Would probably take 30 mins or less if youre really trying to get it done. It is VERY firm so not the most comfortable but it isnt so bad that I wont use it or want to return it. Im disappointed in the color, it isnt as deep a grey as it looks in the picture. If the color was true I would probably give it 5 stars despite the firmness.
No chemical smell or any unpleasant smell with the grey couch I received. The grey looks a bit blue, very pretty. Perfect firmness to my liking. Simple, clean outlines. Sturdy and stable. Fairly easy to assemble. Great value.
