The ladder for some odd reason was the only one to be misaligned, I had to align and route a new hole in order for the screws to slide through and tighten it to the rest of the frame. Otherwise its sturdy and seems to hold well, instructions were pretty easy to understand for set up. I do recommend screwing in the screws pretty loosely to just have enough of a hold before tightening all the way to prevent having to screw back and forth if something is wrong or misaligned.
Since most of the reviews seem to be about using it for kids I thought Id re my experience as a 6ft 190lb man. I sleep in a small room that has to double as my office and I was cramped to death. Spent a really long time finding a loft bed that was full size and could my weight. This is a great example of getting what you pay for. This bed was harsh to assemble on my own. Its not as solid as one might hope. Some of the screw holes werent aligned very well and I had to force the screws in with great difficulty. The bed was also really scratched up fresh out of the box. Having said all this though I think that for the price and functionality this was a great purchase. I felt secure sleeping on the bunk, especially once I secured the frame to the wall with brackets. I didnt feel cramped but at just over 6ft I do have to curl my feet a little so I dont think anyone really tall would love it. I dont think it would be very wise to have more than one person on the bed either. Its completely changed my workspace and made my office feel like a true workspace again. If youre looking for a full size loft bed as an adult and cant afford the thousands that other brands ask for, I think this one will do the trick for you.
It created a lot of additional space to work with without sacrificing the bed size. People were impressed at the fact that it was a full size loft bed AND it had a desk. It wasnt a walk in the park to assemble in the sense that it is a pretty big bed BUT all the directions were clear and thorough, and the tools needed were very well organized. Worth every cent
my daughters love the bed so far but my youngest is afraid on the top bunk because the ladder is slippery and very hard to climb down. i will have to buy her another ladder just hate that this ladder is so scary for her. should come with a better more comfortable ladder
Two of the holes for the shelves were in the wrong place, so those need to be redrilled. All in all, its a decent bed. Its slightly wobbly but doesnt seem unstable.
