I'm not sure about 85% of these people that gave this a one I'm pretty sure they're like the people in The infomercials that don't know how to use stuff. but the instructions layout was easy but would changed the order on some of the steps. And you just have to be patience while putting this bed together. I built this bed by myself. No missing pieces and the company even gave extra hardware. And to the person who's said that they wished the drawers were bigger how much bigger do you want them lol. For the price its not that bad. Only bad thing is the corners scratching my legs.
The install was okay, instructions were not clear about what screws to use where. Also when I did get the bed together. Screwing in the top slats the boards that are above the drawers below snapped under the pressure of me screwing in the screws! It's really unfortunate that I bought this to replace an ikea bed that broke after 3 years of use. And this is broke during the build.
The bedframe was easy to assemble and the instructions easy to follow. I have noticed that the bedframe has begun to creak. I will check to make sure there are no loose screws.
Overall it is a great bedframe, I do advice to buy bumpers for the corners though.
Arrived early and semi easy to put together. Would like it if it came with protecive guarding around the pieces that stick out. It would prevent scratches on legs when getting out of the bex.
When I purchased this bed I had not read the reviews. Afterwards I had a look at them, and felt afraid, because many of those reviews were extremely negative.
The top 3 complaints:
1. Low quality material
2. Instructions were not clear
3. Not sturdy construction
This bed is fine.
Seriously. It's ok. For less than $300 you're getting just the right amount of quality. It's all particle board, so you have to be careful when handling it when assembling.
The instructions were extremely clear. Not heiroglyphic. Not cryptic. Very straight forward. The illustrations were very crisp and concise. I'm sorry to say it, but anybody who was confused by this, wasn't paying attention and following the instructions to the letter.
The bed is sturdy enough. Again, you won't be taking this thing down a flight of stairs, as it is particle board. But it's isn't deceptive. If you punch a hole in this, it's due to abuse, not normal wear and tear. If you assemble it wrong because you didn't follow the instructions, then you're liable to break things on it.
I read a complaint saying that the box was too heavy. It is pretty heavy. I suggest you assemble the bed in pieces. I unpacked it downstairs, and brought the sections up individually, and assembled it in my room. No problem at all.
I doubt the bed will last me 5-10 years. But my expectation from a sub $300 bed isn't more than 5 years in any case...
This bed is fine.

Damage
Arrived damaged, directions unclear, and very flimsy and cheap feeling would not buy again or recommend
No good
Attempted to call seller to have parts replaced and was on hold for about an hour.
Be careful buying a ~$200 bed frame
