Overall its a great bed! The instructions, like most reviews said, are awful. I used the picture at the beginning of the instructions to figure it out because the letters were misprinted on the sheet. Its pretty apparent which piece goes where. Once I figure that out, it was relatively easy to assemble. It took about 2 hours to put together by myself. There were cracks in three of the pieces, but they did not affect the integrity of the bed. For the price, I think it was worth the purchase and I would buy it again.
One of the screws just wouldnt work - took about an hour and a half to resolve then another hour to finish the setup - love it - its just a beautiful set!
With me and me two partners we were able to assemble this frame in less than an hour! Like some other reviews had said there were a fee screws that didnt align just right but it was to attatch the decorative headbord to the frame so no big deal. I have an.. active night life and needed something that could keep up with me. This has been super sturdy so far! Im a 200 lb person and ive had my friends be active with me on this bed with little to no squeaks or creaks! Take that information as you will but this is great for folks who are active and heavy set
Me, Mom and Pop assembled. You need at least 3 people. Keep all sets together once you take out of plastic. Very challenging task for beginners but we are impressed.

Ive had it since May 1st and its been very sturdy and does not feel flimsy at all. Theres also so much space underneath the bed. Great quality bed for the price!! Things I would recommend to keep in mind with this bed:
-The delivered box is quite heavier than expected
-Be very careful when assembling, as the Gold paint does scratch easily
-Make sure youre aware that there is an extra pole in the middle of the left right side that hold the bed (not the standard 4 poles holding up the bed). Thank goodness I read the reviews and also bought a pool noodle to put around those 2 poles. I banged my feet a few times on them after being assembled.
- Lastly, the Gold Paint is on the dull side. Its not as bright and shiny as the pictures, but still beautiful!
I would absolutely recommend this bed to anyone!!
Great bed frame. Easy to assemble. Not too heavy where you cant move it if you need too. Ample under bed storage space. The only thing I dislike is if you use a bed skirt/dust ruffle its a bit challenging to make it stay in place. Resolved that with stick on Velcro dots. Do mind your toes though, the center side supports can be a real pain if your not paying attention.
