I finally found this multipurpose island that fit the perfect height and length of where I needed it to go in my small galley kitchen. The package came well packed and was very heavy. Glad it was delivered to my door and I didnt have to drag it in my car. It took about an hour or so but the instructions were fairly clear.
I have my Keurig and toaster on top. I dont think the size would support it being an island for dining, but great for food prep. I thought this cart had a butcher block top, and I needed the workspace for chopping. But, when it showed up, the top is actually finished and sealed (not good for using as a cutting board). No worries, that was my mistake. The drawer is not very deep so I just put my Keurig pods in it. The shelves are sturdy. Can roll around easily, but it needs to be tipped to roll. Love it. Highly recommend.
This cart is surprisingly versatile and useful. It holds way more stuff than you might think and the drawer is roomy too. It looks nice too with the black and cherry finish. My problem is the durability and complexity of the assembly.
It took an hour to put this cart together and get it functional. The pieces are all labeled correctly and the instructions are reasonably clear. It's just a lot of pegs and bolts and screws. Two of the legs splintered as the connecting bolts were tightened - I did not over tighten these and there was still play in the bolts when the cracks happened. Fortunately, the damage is inside and not readily visible. Nonetheless, the cart works for my requirements and looks nice doing it.
I am so pleased with the quality of this kitchen cart/island. Husband put it together in about 90 minutes, but did use wood glue on all joints, which the instructions did not call for and might add to the standard assembly time. What was surprising (in a good way) were the strong metal wheels, which you rarely see these days. They are usually cheap plastic and break easily. These wheels will last and hold a good amount of weight easily. The ONE problem I have with the cart is that I am 5'2 tall, and this cart is 31 inches tall, which is 2 inches higher than standard table height, which makes it difficult to work on it as a kitchen island. It is, however, excellent storage and wheels around easily. If the measurements work for you, I highly recommend this product.
This is a nice side table. This assembled without headaches and is pretty sturdy. The height is good and the tabletop seems durable. I like that it has wheels so this can be moved around easily. It looks just as it is on the photos and looks good in my kitchen
I'm in love with this Multifunction Island/Kitchen Cart! I love the look: the open shelves with the single pull-out drawer creates a pretty, modern piece. This kitchen cart is extremely roomy and has tons of space for your things: I use mine in my kitchen to store extra cooking supplies, groceries, and cookware (I don't keep alcohol in my house, but this item would also make a great bar cart). The Reclaimed Grey and Black color is pretty and would look great with almost any kitchen/living room/dining room decor. The only thing I disliked about this product was the assembly: it's very challenging to put together, and the pieces are quite heavy and awkward. If you can, pay the extra money and get this item pre-assembled. Other than that, this is a lovely piece of furniture that would make a great addition to any home. Five stars!
This is a very nice looking (except the wheels that look a bit cheap compared with the rest) cart, is very easy to assemble with a few quirks that reduced this from a 5 star to 4
It has a real wood top, is tall enough for it to be very comfortable to use, light enough to move around and big enough to fill with more stuff that you planned to fill it with
Good size drawer and shelves
Is mostly made of particle board and like all items of this type, you MUST be really careful not to ever tighten any joint or connection, this kit does not require any glue, but anyone that has put these together more than once, we know...yeah, is not really designed for many house moves...but having a bottle of gorilla glue... is Better than regular wood glue as it expands a bit and will compensate for those oops when something gets stripped, just add a drop to every connection or screw and will add strength and prevent anything from coming loose later on.
Now onto why is missing a star...
The drawer, while is a good size and we all know there should be nothing heavy...once is set, it will not come out...its safety slide stop is a wooden dow that slides in the back of the drawer, and is almost imposible to remove...and if you do, after a few times it will become loose and fall out, compromising the whole point, Also, it slides in and out on a square piece of wood...cost cutting anyone? I would have prefered as regular metal slider that gave me the option to remove the drawer for cleaning as such.
Wheels, yeah...they are cheap...they look cheap
Add some fabric or rubber feet (thin, square ones) to the legs of this, you will thank me, it needs it, makes is more secure and prevent wood marks on your floor
I like this thing, the few issues are not a deal breaker and as I said...get some glue and some rubber/fabric feet and you will love this.
This butcher block is great-looking and is the perfect height to provide extra counter space, which is something we lack in our kitchen as-is.
It took about 90 mins to assemble, but I was slowed down by the fact that not all of the hardware is labeled properly in the package. For example, you will not see any hardware labeled A, so right out of the box you might think that screws are missing and youll have to contact . Rest assured, everything is there—it just takes a little working through it due to the poor labeling. The assembly itself will require some screwdriver sizes that are not included in the package (they include only a wrench for the wheels, which is not even necessary to use). One assembled, this rolls nicely.
I wish they had included a way to securely fasten the pill handle onto it, as is stays in place via two divots, but it remains loose and too easy to detach. The wheels are a nice touch, making this easy to port from one part of the kitchen to the other or even to pull up outside next to the grill. The block itself is not something youll want to use directly as a cutting board or anything like that, but its perfect for setting cutting boards on top of and buying yourself extra counter space. Overall, its a nice investment made of high-quality materials.
I decided to sand and stain the top of this so that it matched our kitchen. Took sanding, stain, and multiple coats of polyurethane to get this back in before I built it. Id give it a better rating because it is a nice size for what it is however there were some parts that arrived damaged. Another one is that some of the dowels dont fit and will take either some sanding to get them to fit or making holes bigger for them. Wasnt too big a deal but it happened multiple times
This rolling cart is easy to assemble and looks very nice with the cherry wood top and black shelving. I have even used it in my den to offer snacks to guests.
I love the look of the Natural and White Cart in my kitchen. I have a small kitchen with few cabinets and need all the storage help I can get. You can see in the pictures how very pretty it is. I love the white body and the soft color of the wooden top.
This cart is very heavy. gives the shipping weight at 38.7 pounds. According to UPS, it was over 60 pounds. I was not prepared for that. My condo delivery room charged me $25 to accept it because of the weight. I am a small person and could not lift it. I had to push it into my condo and then pay a maintenance man to take it out and put it together for me. You can also pay extra to have assemble it for you.

Good looking, lots of storage space. Use caution when assembling
