    Not STURDY!

cheap material! my DH is afraid to install all the parts cause the wood cracked so easy . Not happy on this purchase Update: I able to get a hold of the company and she was prompt to send me the parts.

    Great Island, terrible cart.

As a kitchen island I would give it five stars. It's sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, it seems like it will last well. There's a cart I would have to give it one star the wheels are absolutely terrible it's almost impossible to steer and it has horrible rolling resistance. If you want something that you're going to roll into position and leave it there and never move again it's awesome. If you want something that is, as advertised a cart, keep looking.

    Great additional kitchen prep space

Only reason this is a 4 Star instead of a 5 is the time it takes to put together. Our marriage survived!

    Nice piece - highly recommend

I ordered this product and was a bit nervous. The delivery was on time as usual and then as I opened the box, i found the manual and pieces as listed. I followed step by step instructions and within a couple hours, it was ready to use. Its absolutely a great piece and I simply love it.

Overall great, but some things misalign

Overall this island is really great, and sturdy. Definitely nice to have a second person help assemble it, but nothing terribly difficult. The only issue is that not everything lines up correctly. For us, that's mainly the 2 big, main doors. They're a little crooked from each other and that's a little frustrating when everything else seems so well built. Oh, also... you can put the spice tray or paper towel holder on either side... just plan it ahead because it's easier to do at the beginning than after you built is as per the directions! (I wanted to swap them)

Difficult to assemble but looks good

This looks really nice and is easy to use. But it gets 4 starts because it was NOT easy to assemble! I swear there were like 150 parts. It took me about three hours. And I consider myself a very capable assembler of build it yourself furniture.

missing parts, flimsy, pre drilled holes don't line up with parts

I tried contacting the seller and no one replied. we got it put together with furniture parts purchased from hardware store. I could have bought a studier already put together unit for the same price at big lots.

Patience is the key -- pieces and pieces

Both my husband and I worked on assembling this cabinet. The most awkward part is putting the back and sides together. It takes two people. Once you get that done, the rest is simply following directions and patience. Make sure you follow closely and use all the hardware supplied. Once done, the cabinet is very pretty, roomy, and so handy. The extra space for serving is really cool, but read carefully......the top doesn't like hot, wet, cold, just about anything, so maybe a cover would be a good idea if using it for serving or storing food during a meal. I do love this cabinet and it is a very pretty addition to our kitchen.
