My husband and I bought this bed for our 7-year-old daughter. She still sleeps in our bedroom. So we wanted a daybed that we could dress up as a sitting area so our room doesn't look like it has 2 bed in it during the daytime. The bed was very easy to assemble. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hours or less and he really didn't need a lot of my help. The trundle bed at the bottom works very well also. We use it for my son sometimes (12 years old) or my husband or I also sleep on it occasionally if my daughter has a nightmare and wants someone to sleep close to her. The bed is very sturdy. We love it!
Super easy to put together. The directions were very clear. There are a lot of pieces, which made me nervous. But it was easy. The bed is pretty and is sturdy.
The package was delivered quickly, packaged well, and required assembly. One of the rungs that you fit into the slats on the trundle piece was angled wrong, so I had to force it into the available slat with a considerable amount of effort, having to bend the rung with a wrench. Other than that, assembly went fairly smoothly, and it didn't take too long. We have had the bed for some time now, but we've only been using the trundle for a couple of months, and the caster wheels have already completely failed: they bent and the ball-bearings just started coming loose and falling out - I had to remove them yesterday and buy new ones to replace them. Also the lock mechanism extends beyond the wheel, so it scrapes the floor! It has ruined our carpet under the bed now from having to roll it back and forth. That is the primary reason for the 2 star review. As a whole, the bed works fine, but we will probably trade it in for a bunk bed soon.
I set this bed up by myself. It is easy to do and the instructions are pretty clear. Was meant for our little one but so far husband has taken it over - he seems to like it.
I bought this bed for a guest room. Its beautiful. Its more of a muted gold and isnt shiny yellow, which I love. It seems sturdy and doesnt squeak when you lay on it. You can also adjust the frame to different heights, depending on how far off the ground you want the mattress. On the highest level you can easily store things under the bed with what Id estimate to be about 1 foot of clearance.
I put together the single bed first then the full bed. I also read to put yoga mats under the mattress to keep from marking
the mattress and give support. The beds have been used by many guests and they report it is very comfortable. Both beds have gel/foam mattresses that are quite comfortable. I am a senior and was able to build this by myself.

Adorable daybed!
Very easy to assemble, but it did take some time. The bed seems quite sturdy. One of the finials is slightly crooked.

Caster wheels on trundle poor quality

Nice and durable
Nice construction and durable. I had problems installing one bolt, but happy with the end results.
Good, not great
Easy to assemble but trundle too low

Must read the instructions several times before starting.
