Took 40 minutes to assemble including double-checking each step, finding missing holes that were covered in fabric, recycling, and moving to my desk.
Pros
Looks exactly like the picture but the seat is plusher than I expected
Brushed matte champagne metal color wheels (specifically did not want shiny chrome)
Packaging minimal and easy to recycle
Raises and lowers smoothly and easily
Assembled by myself with the tool provided
Works perfectly on the brand console table I just bought as a desk (See review, very happy)
After looking at roughly 1000 desk chairs on PB, OS, WF, and WE because I did not want shiny chrome, I went with prior positive experience with brand (dining table, round end table, and console table and ordered this chair.
Cons
The fabric on the bottom of seat piece entirely covers the holes for attaching the back
Used the Allen wrench provided to softly tap until I found holes, pierced fabric, and screws went in easily (mostly)
Fabric is a very light color and has a few tiny dark marks (likely from my fingers on the lightly greased screws, but is preventable)
Worried about how stains will show but hoping will wipe off easily
The armrests are not comfortable. The seam atop the two panels is not an armrest, rather the side of the chair. If you are an arm rester, look carefully at photos.
After a frustrating experience recently with a PB lamp (we just moved and lots of furniture assembly), that I sent back, I am again super happy with my purchase, and very very happy with my third and not last purchase. I was a WE fan, but is clearly a simpler, faster (by weeks), experience and the quality seems comparably so far.
The chair is extremely comfortable for my height! 5'-3" approved. Most chairs are made for taller people it seems this one is great. The back is very comfortable the seat is not super squishy, but it's not one bit uncomfortable either. Just get a cute cushion if you want to and you're set! The 2 big bolts in the back are a little hard to screw in alone so you might want some more hands to help you hold stuff in place with it but it has really simple instructions too
After a couple months the base started rocking. It was not due to the bolts coming loose. Also the right hand rest now sits lower than the left one. I removed the lumbar but kept the neck pillow which made the chair comfortable. It is a shame the material quality isn't there, otherwise this would be a good chair. When this chair finally falls apart or gets in worse condition, I will not be purchasing the same product to replace it.
I love the looks of this year. However, I've had it less than 2 months and when I was just scooting backwards a wheel broke off. I have a plastic chair mat down so it's on a smooth surface. Super bummed.
Came in just the way it looked like in the pictures! Loved the gold as well so pretty! It just doesn’t roll as much as I’d want it to but other than that it’s comfy for me and it’s a beautiful black suede color

Comfortable especially if you're petite!

This was easy to assemble that my 13 year old it. It’s nice and cushioned and comfortable. You can adjust the height.
