Full over full: Annoying to put together

Make sure you read the details, this is a short bunk bed. Also, there are so many annoying little plastic pieces to click in. Took my roommate and I 3.5hrs to put together. Very low sitting to the ground, roomba or other vacuums cannot fit under it. I am not sure how sturdy this is, I dont trust the top can take 400 pounds, the bed is made of thin metal and plastic. Kinda wish I had gone with one that was cheaper, but my mindset was higher cost maybe meant higher quality. Im hoping this holds my family members that plan to come visit because they are a little heavier.

    Perfect size

We used this for the room for our 11 and 12 year old girls. They are 5'5 and 5'8, respectively. They weigh 160 and 130 ish each. I weigh 195 and got on the top bunk no problem. It's not tall. I'm 5'3 and can reach into the top bunk. The one that's 5'8 is on the bottom and can sit up without hitting her head. They really like the full over full as opposed to the twin over twin. It still fits in the little nook we have just as well. It was really easy to assemble. I don't think it even took us 2 hours and I had to stop multiple times to answer work emails. It takes 2 people only because it's easier if someone is holding the piece as you put the screws in to make sure it's level and they go in easy. DONT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS UNTIL THE END. I've made that mistake many times with bunk beds. Don't do it. This one was at least 10x easier than the last ikea ones we assembled. The box is HEAVY that it's shipped in. Probably doesn't hurt to pay the extra money for them to put it in the room you want it in. I have 3 stories and it was terrible getting it upstairs. It would have definitely been worth the $20 to have them take it up there.

Kids love it! Low to ground and safe!

Over a year later this bed has held up to the rest of time.. it was a little time consuming to put it up, but once I figured it out it went up smoothly. Use a drill or small impact gun. Im 61 360lbs and can easily lay on the top bunk. It never squeaks, and feels solid and very safe! Best part is how low the bottom bunk is, total confidence that kids wont get hurt getting on and off of it!! Worth every penny and awesome quality! I got the queen size and its perfect! You can fit 2 adults comfortable on both bunks!

Dont buy for long term use

Dont buy if you are wanting this bed to last. Only 2 years in and the metal has broken.
