I really like this bookshelf. It has lots of room, is decorative and I got it for a good price. I like that the shelves are broken up into cubbies which make them easier to use for small things.
I'm always leery of assemble-it-yourself" furniture. This unit was a pleasant surprise. It is made from an engineered wood product but resembles plywood more than the typical particle board, making it a bit lighter. The finish was flawless and seems durable. All the holes lined up perfectly. All pieces are numbered, the assembly instructions are pictures only.
NOTE: Pay attention to the dividers. They must be assembled so the channels for the back are kept clear.

It was easy to put together. I got 2 matching and a tall corner shelf that matches enough. The laminate is thin but good looking. Pretty study!
