I am using it as a cabinet to store holiday dishes. I didnt want a huge piece of furniture so this is the perfect size for my purpose. Its looks just as nice as the picture did and seems of good quality.
I have read the other poor reviews and I think they are unfair. For the price point, this is a great piece of furniture. Is it absolutely perfect and ready for the Vatican? Probably not, but we are really happy with the style and quality for the price. Now lets talk about the amazing customer service they provided me. I ordered two of these units for each side of my fireplace; one came in as expected and the other one came in with two damaged pieces. I ordered these before Turkey Day and I was really annoyed. I contacted customer service on a Thursday afternoon and they responded immediately. I received the pieces that Saturday!! I am so grateful for their concern and execution to resolve my issues. Simpli Home has a very great style for the price point and we looked at more expensive furniture stores, but they did not have the style we wanted. We are extremely happy with how much we paid and the product the provided. You may need to tweak the screws here and there to get things to line up, but calculate your hourly wage and what it would take to make this. I think you will be happy if you keep yourself realistic.

We got this for our living room colors are great, wood is nice, and its well-constructed.
The packaging protected the item nicely, and it arrived with no nicks, dings, dents, etc.
I had it put together in about 30 minutes. and it looks really good.
Heres where I have a problem with the item: Its crooked. And what I mean by crooked is this one of the legs doesnt reach the floor quite level with the others, and this results in a twist in the entire cabinet. The problem this causes is that one door appears to hang straight, while the other door hangs low and crooked. To get it to appear straight, I had to apply pressure to one corner of the cabinet and twist the entire item.
By the time I figured this out, the packaging was too complicated to pack up (the last items you install are the doors), and it would have been impossible to repackage and return. I would like to simply relocate the hinges, but cant do that, because it would make the door higher, but not straight and the holes I would have to make to relocate the hinges would be too close to the existing holes, and would most likely just strip out upon trying to tighten them.
The cabinet is a fantastic buy for the money. I just wish it had been straight.

For the money its a really nice piece of furniture. Packaged very well and clear pictures for assembly. Im a women in my 60s and was able to assemble it in about 1 1/2 hours from unpacking to finish. While its true as some other reviewers noted the finish is not perfect. But its good enough. You could pay much more for a solid piece of furniture like this.

Well constructed, well packaged, but cabinet is twisted, making doors crooked.

Some Imperfections
Doors did not exactly close correctly and it was slightly damaged from factory. Not a huge problem but not an excellent product.
