Cabinet is beautiful, was easy to put together. We like that it is solid wood, not particle board. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that it isnt hardwood, but for the price it is an excellent product. Does exactly what we wanted it for.
I am very happy with my purchase. I got this to use in my dining room for extra storage and table top space. It was fairly easy to put together. Very similar to other sauder/ type pieces but once its up, it looks really nice. Especially for the price, you cant beat it! I am considering purchasing another one for my master bath.
First of all, this piece was better and more high-end looking than I had hoped. The wood is thick and stable. All of the pieces I received were cut perfectly. The assembly was simple for a 40 year old woman who loves tools. Ive put together a number of cam-bolt type furniture over the years, and this was so straightforward that I didnt need the instructions, but I checked them as I went to be sure. The result does not look like typical cam-bolt furniture though- it looks exceptionally nice. I added my own knobs, but the longer screws that came with this piece were needed to make those work. I also added a frosted film to the glass, which I felt brightened it up.
It compliments my antique walnut piano very nicely. The only hidden fault (why it isnt more $$ I think) is that this is a soft wood. I custom drilled some new shelf holes so that I could use it for taller piano books. The drill bit went in with only gravity and had to be carefully controlled. Given that the wood is so soft, I decided to put a decorative matt on top so that it will stay nice through the years, prevent bumps, scrapes, and water damage. That is the one thing I would recommend to all buyers- protect the top.
I made a couple small modifications, added a background paper, holes in the back to add lights, and different knobs. All in all it has been a great little piece for my livingroom. I have put MANY like this together over the years, but this one had a trick. I initially screwed the cam lock posts in too deep. When I tried to put it together, however, I could not make them grab and lock. Just be careful that you dont do this, otherwise it will never be sturdy. For the money though, its a great little piece and lots of style! Makes a great little liquor cabinet!
Was not to difficult to assemble. Pleasantly surprised that it was real wood and not particle board. Took a while to assemble, but I was taking my time and wanted it done right. Finished product turned out beautiful. Was also glad to see that there were a lot of extra spare small parts. This cabinet was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks
This is a really nice little piece of furniture. We had been looking for something for our daughters bathroom that would sit next to her sink/vanity. She has just a small sink/vanity and she needed some space for her makeup and hair stuff. This was the perfect height and size. We like it a lot!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this piece of furniture. Looks great in my bathroom and holds all my odds and ends. I could not be happier with the price, and ease of assembly. It was put together quickly and effortlessly.
