A real pain to assemble with the little allen wrench they send you. A lot of sturdiness is lost so that they can fit it in the smallest box possible. The side boards are cut in half and that make the bed very sketchy. Ours lasted about 8 months before the the cheap construction failed and it buckled. I tried to repair it but the metal parts were bent and not really salvageable.
Bed arrived in one box, all the parts were stored in a storage area in the headboard. bed was easy for one person to put together. I was surprised by the good quality. Headboard is plush and classy looking. The bed is very sturdy. So glad we purchased it. Price is better than most like this.
I had this bed for about 45 days before the side just collapsed. I assumed it wouldn't last long considering the price but not even 2 months later! It was easy to put together even though one screw wouldn't fit. It's a nice looking bed but that's about it. Now I have to get extra screws and drill it back together!
The description and photos of the support boards are totally different than what we received. The pictures from the Classic Brand Company show a metal support pole running the length of the bed and wood horizontal which is fine. The problem is the center doesnt support the horizontal mattress boards and those boards are cut just a little too short. It seems they changed the design and its not for the better.
Not sure about the storage, the fabric that you zip up is already tore from transport and the overall product; I wouldnt recommend and wouldnt buy again. We will try to fix the support boards as best as we can because to ship a 119 lb bed frame would be challenging.
