Storage drawer (small bedrm), low profile (senior dog) bed not available locally. I ordered based on price, profile and storage. The full bed arrive one box. One person can assemble. Per description, drawers are mesh basket on wheels, mattress will slide. Drawers are the size of under bed storage containers.
Instructions and frame does not identify front/backs which create possible assembly issue. I struggled with all the holes, thread. Only tool, a hex allen wrench, bolts have shallow indents, easily stripped bolts head. Allen wrench does not get a good grip on bolt. No bit included which would have helped with installation. I had to extract one bolt and stripped two. It took 5 hrs to assemble and 2 trips to hardware and banged knuckels. The drawer lock to frame is poorly designed. One fell out when assembling; do not over tight when installing. Due to locking mechanisms design. the drawers are not for daily use. Drawers would be for seasonal items. With mesh drawer, I put the clothes in cloth under bed storage bags. Mattress sluding has not been an issue yet. A good option for the price.
This took about an hour and a half to put together with 2 people. The drawers are nice to have for storage. You can fit quite a lot of stuff in them. I dont enjoy the way they latch because its sometimes hard to get them lined up. But overall for the price I think its a really great option.
I will not EVER stop raving about this bed. The pictures or description from the listing do not do it any justice. It is absolutely exquisite. The bed comes in two boxes. It is made of real wood, not particle board like I was highly expecting. The pictures made it look like a flat board type wood with a painted type of weathered/distressed look but it is NOT that!!! The finish is absolutely killer!!! It has SO much texture and really gives it a beautiful look that you cant see Im the listing. I was SOOO surprised by how beautiful each piece was when I was unboxing it. Each piece was flawless. It is very sturdy. Each piece was clearly labeled. Easy assembly. My friend and I went at assembling it, and it only took a couple of hours. It is cheaper than a single twin bed I was looking to buy at Ashley furniture, but the quality of this bed is twice as good, hands down. I loved that the trundle was not on a track, and also featured three nice and spacious drawers. There is enough room between each bed to leave the bed underneath made up without having to strip it of its comforter and pillow when rolling it back underneath. I was actually so surprised and am so in love with this bed, I actually reached out to the manufacturer to tell them thank you for making this bed!!! I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!
So we absolutely love this bed frame BUT we do have one complaint. The mattress slides all over it. It would have been nice if they had ledges on all 4 corners so that the mattress doesnt come off. Im probably going to have hubby construct something of the sort. The drawers are nice but I wouldnt put anything too heavy in them as the wires would probably bend. The wood looks nice and the frame is really sturdy.
We werent sure if the bed would be sturdy. We are using it in a guest bedroom, so it isnt going to have a ton of use But, as we were putting it together I said to my husband that the bed would be great for a jumping toddler because its so sturdy. Very pleased with this purchase.
It was very easy to assemble and she loves it. We ordered the mattress as well and its very comfy. The trundle bed pulls out very easily on carpet too.

Great value for the price

14 year Olds bedroom. New place, much smaller room for her. So added storage a big plus.
