Sturdy, looks nice, worth the money

I bought two, assembled them both by myself definitely took me a few hours but its manageable. Had one cracked piece. The company was quick to ship me out a replacement.

Sturdy, not too hard to assemble, but needs longer slats on the main bed.

I read the reviews that said this takes a while to build. They are right. But what I did was watch some good tv while building each component and prepping all the pieces. The next day, I assembled them. The assembly after all the prep took about 1-2 hours, which isnt bad. I also did most of it on my own. The 14 year old helped here and there. Very sturdy!! One complaint is that all the slats seem to be cut to fit the trundle assembly, while the bed itself is slightly larger. This led to a few slats being a bit too short and screws splitting the wood of the frame because they were too close to the edge. I would suggest the manufacture ship one group of trundle slats and another forthe main bed slats. They shouldnt try to do this one-size-fits-all approach because one size doesnt fit both. Other than that, it is very cool and works extremely well for a teenage boy. The drawers for clothes is a plus.

Sturdy. Took a couple hours to assemble.

Before I got this bed for my 5 year old, I read a lot of reviews on this bed and they were mixed. The bed is very sturdy. I did buy a bunkie board just in case. Probably not needed for a child but I would recommend it for a teen or adult. The storage drawers are perfect for sheets and stuffies. Only negative, which is a personal experience, is the headboard is just the right to bang your head on. Otherwise, its a great bed.

    Its a pretty bed

Bought this bed for my 8 year old. This bed has been in use for about two weeks now and we really like it. The bed itself is very nice and sturdy but the drawers are flimsy and they tell you it rolls out but it has no casters of any kind. Does not slide on carpet. If you have any kind of wood flooring in it will scratch it.

    Easy to assemble

Easy to assemble. Only disappointment is the top panels are little better than card board.

    Happy overall despite some issues

First and foremost I was very impressed with the packaging, labeling of the parts (minus the drawer hardware) and the instructions. It did take me a very long time (I attempted by myself, not suggested) to assemble. I still havent finished the drawers, I had to stop for a sanity break. The slats were not great. Some were warped and several were not long enough to adequately screw into both ends. I was very happy with the solid wood of all the pieces. I had a couple minor issues that I decided to just address with gorilla glue vs attempting to get replacement parts. The crack pictured was minor and should not affect the integrity of the bed. Overall I am happy with the bed. It will not be something that is used very often. For the price I think it was well worth the purchase.
