It took me and my bf probably an hour or two to put together. Overall it wasnt that hard. Make sure you look at the directions for the drawers as they have to be done a specific way or youre gonna be taking it apart and putting it back together. I like this style of bed and wanted one with drawers after my last one broke. The reviews on all the beds on here werent great so thought Id add my two cents. Id definitely recommend this bed overall, dont really have any complaints

This frame is great for the price. Pretty easy to assemble, sturdy, the wood isnt as bright in person (which I liked, it looks more natural)

Bed was way to assemble. The presentation of hardware needed to assemble the bed was stellar, with parts grouped and wrapped according to those groups. All tools needed to assemble the bed were included. Drawers are very large and roomy a great value- buy immediately!

That said, drawers are bit clumsy and dont snug closed. expect to have two unusable drawers if you put two night stands around the bed - as they will block the drawers. A solution is to get the right size cabinet to separate the bed from the wall and hopefully be able to use the two drawers close to the wall. Another issue is the sharp edges of the wood, carful not to smash your foot!
For shipping, it came in one box which was too heavy for me. Wouldve been manageable if split into two smaller boxes.
One drawer slide was damaged when received. We received replacement within days of contacting seller. Bed took some time to assemble but not difficult for this grandmother. Great looking bed. Its just what we wanted.
