The brackets for the wing portions of the wing back chairs had no clearance from the fluffiness of the chair, and you couldnt see to line them up, plus they wanted you to put them on the back when it was already attached to the glider. Idiotic design. We had to unscrew the brackets slightly, and shim underneath so we had enough clearance for the brackets to slide in to each other. Plus we had to take the back off the base so it wasnt moving all over from the glider.
After many years of putting together Christmas toys and various other items with printed instructions this companys instructions are VERY BEST I have ever read. Many other enclosed instructions leave you frustrated and angry at poor writing and misleading or missing details. NOT this company--I repeat the best written instructions for assemble ever in my experience. Good product in all aspects.
We bought a pair of these and went with because of their reputation for quality. If I were reviewing the rockers based on the first one I opened and put together it would be a solid five stars with rave reviews. That chair was virtually flawless. Every connection was perfect and I had it put together by myself within 45 minutes even without directions. It would have been half time that if Id been paying attention and not put the chair back on backwards. While there are no instructions keep in mind that the longer screws are for the seat and the shorter ones for the back.
After getting it put together we ended up with one of these wettest months Ive ever seen in what should be our best weather so waited for good weather to open the next one. Wow. What a difference! This one is rough over most of the chair. One of the wooden dowels that attach the chair back to the arms/rockers is so short it will barely do any good. The putty and glue work is sloppy. Most concerning though is how bad the pre-drilled holes are. The edges of the holes are damaged and a couple of them are such large ovals Im going to have to find washers to keep the screws from sinking down through the arms. I think I can salvage it but its just not the quality I would expect - especially after seeing the first. Thankfully I grew up working for my contractor father so this lady is handy with tools and have whatever Ill need on hand.
Like others have said the seat cushions are thin and not very comfortable - especially for old rears like ours. Id already planned on buying new ones because beige just isnt my color so thats not a big deal to us. My best recommendation is to open the box as soon as you get it and look the chair over.
Pros
Fairly easy to assemble
Not too many parts
Comes with needed tools
Sturdy
Cons
Needs written instructions as well
Metal frame needs more suppprt
Leans too far back, making difficult to get out of chair.

It was a wedding gift that was appreciated very much!
My granddaughter was so happy to receive this rocking chair. She will always remember her grandma when rocking her babies!
Great chair!
Very easy to put together and incredibly sturdy!
Not as sturdy as it looks in the pictures.
Wood is not sturdy like teak. Somewhat light weight and doesnt feel sturdy. Not sure how long it will last. But rocks ok and is somewhat comfortable.
Nothing
I thought was smaller n heavier
