Satisfied with the bed. Assembly went well except for one fastener bolt which was stripped. Fortunately I had a similar bolt from another project which I adapted and used successfully. Without this there would have been a problem. Suggest that the manufacturer add a few extra bolts and screws at the cost of a few pennies. This could save some grief for others who might have the same experience.
I assembled this myself. If you have a can-do attitude this shouldnt be too hard. Best to just take your time. During the assembly the only things I had problems with were aligning the brackets in correspondence to the direction of the drawer/support board. Just take your time and really analyze the picture. The other issue I ran into was laying the slats along with the final foot/head board. You want to place your slats and any other addition slat boards in place first, then fully tighten the final foot/head board. Neither issue caused much trouble; I did this at the end of a work day. I would even go as far as recommending you buy five 1x3x8s and cutting them to how ever many inches long for additional support in between each slat. I have a Purple Mattress and I felt more support when I added those. I would also recommend Drawers stops to place at the two top corners of each drawer to prevent slamming and damage. Drawers are holding up, no creaking or squeaking. I am currently deciding whether I want to add handles to each drawer, because I have nails and they scraped through some of the paint.
I would have given a rating of 5 stars but the bed did come with a little dings and putting it together does take awhile. You definitely will need a drill gun. It makes it so much easier. And having an extra hand also helps. Besides that love the bed. I bought it for my son. He has a small room and with the draws underneath gives him extra space that he needs. He loves it.
Pros: easy assembly
Clear instructions
Sturdy
Great value for the price
Cons: unfinished wood (bed wetters may ruin the slats, or spilled liquids)
Mdf instead of hdf (fiberboard density. Keeps price down)
I put it together in about 90 minutes working alone. The boards are mdf, so avoid over tightening screws so u dont crack boards. Only the vaneer is finished. Drawers and slats are unfinished wood. Id recommend paying the 40$ to get a peice of 1/2 sheathing (giant particle board used in roofing) cut to size. Most lumber yards will make the cuts for you.
Bed was just as pictured. Came in two boxes and was fairly easy to put together. The instructions for the drawers was a little lacking but the main part of the bed was pretty accurate and explained well. Would buy it again.
The product is really nice, the quality with its price is amazing. DHP even send me a part of the bed which was slightly damaged during delivery.
Very easy to contact the seller through their website

Acceptable for the money.
This bed is fairly well made, comes with some unpainted parts, some plain particle board is visible and headboard attaches with shoddy short screws.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. I did a live stream of me putting it together and with normal child interruptions (4yr old), it only took about 2 hours.
The only additional tool needed is a philips screwdriver! Allen wrench included.
