Hard to build but so much storage!!

Love the bed it looks great! Seems very sturdy. It wasnt hard to build, just time consuming. I did it alone and it took me like 10 hours or so but I took lots of breaks and a nap it says to not use power tools but I used my drill for everything just be careful and follow all the steps.

You need patience and time with this!

Comes in four heavy boxes. Each box is a separate piece. Start with any of the three smaller boxes and the last one is the large one. Assemble on a carpeted area and DO NOT put the three main pieces together to finish the base until its in where you want it. Sturdy. Well constructed. Great piece.

Great but takes time to assemble.

This is a nice frame where almost everything lines up well. It looks nice and functions well. However it is a bit time consuming to assemble for the novice. I recommend getting a bit for your drill that matches the Allen wrench size for assembly as it will make life much easier. Also as it comes in multiple boxes sometimes as with this one they do not all arrive at once. Luck to all.

Love this beautiful string bed frame

Love this bedframe its very sturdy real wood totally awesome! My husband and I both are on the heavy side and I dont feel any movement of this bedframe whatsoever. We put it together one day at a time the first day we did the foot part and one side the next day we did the one side and then put them all together and put the slats and sides on. That helps make it not so hard if you do it in two days the foot and this one side took 3 to 3 1/2 hours for my husband to put together. As far as the directions they were very thorough there are two photos throughout the whole instructions that is a little backwards so set your pieces up look at them really good look at the pictures in the instructions and pay real close attention and you will do just fine. There is absolutely no word directions its all photos. We left the big door off on the side of the bed so our little Maltese could have a little sleeping area and she loves it.

    Love this bedframe

Love all the storage. It takes a little while to put together (I did it alone, 51 yr old female) but its a very sturdy bed and will be for years to come.

    Aming bed frame

Super happy with it. Assembly was clunky but the finished product was really sturdy and looks really expensive even though it was reasonably priced.

    Great Piece!

Good quality for the price point. Fit in with our fancy bedroom set to upgrade the size of our bed nicely. Looks really beautiful.

Assmebly took a while, but well worth it

This bed frame is aming. I used to own a waterbed with a big storage frame similar to this but a little taller. However, in my move I opted not to bring the waterbed with me. Im happy with my new mattress, but I though I was going to have a hard time finding a bed frame with a similar storage ability. Then four boxes from Bril got delivered by UPS. Pros: Aming storage capability The slide/out end tables are a great space saver if this were to go into a smaller room. I put it in a 12 x 15 room with the width of the bed in the shorter dimension and there is still plenty of space to move along the edges of the frame. It seems very sturdy. Being an American couple, my girl friend and I combined weigh about 500 lbs and it seems very sturdy. The pictorial instructions are well done Almost all screw holes are pre/drilled, with a few exceptions Plenty of extra hardware just in case Cons: This isnt IKEA (though some might see that as a good thing). Assembly took about 8 hours with one person (though two people are recommended). Its also takes up a lot of space during construction, so keep that in mind. No instructions on how to level the large storage doors. However, if you adjust the screw toward the edge of the frame it will lower (counter/clockwise) or raise (clockwise) the door. The end tables dont feel like they could hold very much and are somewhat shorter than I expected, but still very useful / just dont expect to set a weighty or large lamp on it or anything. Overall, I am very happy with this product, though Ive only slept in it one night so far. If anything changes, Ill be sure to update this review. However, given how sturdy the construction seems overall, I dont think Ill have any issues in the future.

    Really neat bed

First of all, this bed is really cool. It is for my daughter and she loves it. It was horrendous to build though, and I wish I could say I felt like it will last many years but Im really not sure. One corner of the bed has only a small leg to support it, so I didnt feel comfortable repositioning the bed without lifting it up and setting it back down (couldnt drag or push it). Also the bed has to go in a corner as one side is completely open (only one side has the need compartments.) The instructions were on par with ikea furniture, as were the holes that were not always in the right place or just not drilled at all. Im still happy we purchased it, Im sure my daughter will enjoy her new bed and Im glad the building process is behind me.
