This product is not easy to assemble. It comes with instructions that are very simple however the instructions do not differentiate where to put the larger screws from the smaller screws for holding the chair legs in place. Theres no customer service phone number on the instructions so I went to the website for and there is no customer service number there either. The screws in the ranch are black the bottom of the chair is black and it literally is impossible to see what youre trying to screw in. Honestly you could be blind and and have the same ability of putting this chair together as someone with 2020 vision. Ive noticed in the reviews theres comments about legs being on sturdy for this chair now I see why. Im going to call a friend to help me bring it to Kohls so I can return it. I suggest you save yourself the trouble.
That said the fabric is absolutely gorgeous and the color is phenomenal! I so wouldve loved this chair. Too bad the vendor skipped on assembly instructions And didnt see the obvious flaws of having black screws and nuts being screwed into black fabric. You could honestly cannot say just close your eyes and imagine. Such a shame! Other than that this wouldve been perfect for my living room.
I purchased two of these and easily to assemble. The only complaint would be the screws on the legs come loose after awhile and need to be tightened. Its a stiffer seat but works great and was a great price!
I ordered 2 of these chairs for my home library. They are very comfortable to sit in and they look very nice in the room. The extra width definitely makes them feel extra cozy. My kids love to curl up with a book and a blanket in the chairs. I would highly recommend them. They came well packaged and were not difficult to assemble. The color was true to the picture and description. I am very pleased with my purchase.
The box arrived and was left on my deck. Its heavy. I pushed and pulled and got it in the house. Well packaged! I found all the bits and pieces and the instructions. Straight/forward. Easy/peasy. Well, not quite. Six/6 long bolts/screws hold the sides to the base. First, thread them into the side. Done. Then align the sides and the base and push the bolts thru, into the underside of the base. Important question here: how far to thread the bolts into the base side? Instructions/drawing NOT helpful. If they are not in far enough on either end / the sides or the base, the chair will fail. Oh fun. After experimenting, I tried proportions I thought would make it solid. We shall see in a few weeks.
Matching up the bolts and the holes, its picky but I got them. Tightening the the washers and the nuts is not great since the provided wrench is a bit bigger than the nuts. For one of the bolts, the clearance for turning is smaller than the outside wrench diameter, which prevents it from fitting over the nut. Hence, loose nut. I found a plier I could use to tighten it down.
Legs /perfect. Back / easy but odd. There is a fabric flap that serves no apparent purpose, but gets in the way of the metal plates matching up.
Now its done! Now I sit down! Oh, what was that sound? I weigh 143 lbs. No, seriously. When I sat down, the creaks were obvious. The six (6) bolt/screws were figuring out how to balance the weight, settling into the holes, etc. I hope they are now comfortable and happy and content, cuz I dont want them coming out!
For the price I paid, Im OK. Paying full list would not be cool.
Very nice for the price! Easily assembled in about 10 minutes without any help, and the final product is well made and attractive. The color is a little darker than the picture, more like a denim blue (but I dont mind). This chair is big enough for an adult and a toddler to sit side/by/side comfortably, with room to spare. Like some of the other reviewers have said, the cushion is firm but not uncomfortable. Hopefully this chair is durable, Ill update after it has gotten some use.
Easy to assemble other than the back piece, but after a few tries was able to get it right. Sturdy build. Comfable. Able to curl up in the chair which is unusual being 57. Will probably buy another soon. Definitely recommend.
The chair was super easy to put together its really comfortable I think the only issue is that after about 3/4 months of daily use its begun tearing. You can see the seams splitting and one has split open entirely. Im going to need to find some sort of cover for it because theres not a way to just reupholster this without figuring out how to take the whole thing back apart. Still is super comfortable but absolutely not that sturdy you can hear it shift you can hear things crack in it if you lean a certain way and the seams are splitting on the main cushions. The zipper that attaches the back cushion itself splits quite frequently as well so you have to take the cushion off and put it back on so its not all over the place. If its not a chair you were anticipating to use daily then it would be fine but if this is going to be a frequently used chair it will fall apart quickly.
Edit its been 18 months, 3 springs have popped and are super uncomfortable, it creaks mom stop and has torn quite seriously. The cushion on the bottom
And back are super flat as well. As a scarcely used accent chair, sure youll get 2/4 years. But every day use you get under 1 year.

Legs are on sturdy because instructions are faulty and assembly is difficult.

Great sofa chair roomy!
Easy to assemble. Very roomy and comfortable. Nice dark blue color. Great price and received a lot quicker than I would have if ordered in store.
