Very great quality, stayed several nights in rain and wind and stayed dry. Love the front porch to put shoes on and set up chairs while staying away from the bugs. I was able to put up solo in under 15 minutes. Inside fit my queen and twin mattresses with space in between. Would recommend to a small family for camping!
We purchased this tent for casual weekend camping trips. Our first use was great. We absolutely love the porch feature. We kept the windows open during the night and had nice airflow. At this time we dont have any negatives about the tent. As for size, Id say two adults and two kids can fit comfortably.
We just used this tent for the first time two nights ago! Its HUGE on the inside, and the porch is just wonderful! We had some rain throughout the night but the tent stayed dry and the porch was spotless, expect for a few rain droplets. We did use seam sealer on the inside of the tent just Incase. But other wise this tent was amazing! I will suggest that if you do have a branch fall into the tent to check where the poles are, we had a small rip in the morning taking it down from the flexing that branch must have caused. A little duct tape and it was fixed however! Overall this is the best tent Ive ever owned!
Nice tent, have used it twice now. Sets up easy first time was in the dark ( I dont recommend that thought)
I am 65 tall and can almost stand up in the center. However going through the doors is a pain in the back, literally.
In hind site I would not get the one with the screen in front.
Weve been using this tent for a few years and after adding a few adjustments to the front porch area we love it very much.
The porch area floods when it rains because it is only partially covered and has a tarp floor. We fixed this problem by stabbing several drainage holes into the porch floor and by starching a tarp to the front of the tent to be rolled down like a garage door to cover the porch when it rains. Not ideal but it now does the trick.
Weve never had a problem with water inside the tent which is super swell. Weve used it probably a dozen times. The rain tarp is great over the tent part. Still gets lots of airflow when its on and the awnings over the windows create plenty of privacy for when you have neighbor campers.
Very roomy and great ventilation. Easy to set up and take down. The only thing that would have been better is if the rain fly completely covered the vestibule. I set it up on the backyard before our trip and it got a good test of wind and rain. The tent held up beautifully but, as stated in other reviews, the vestibule had water in it. Either a way to cover it or drain it would make this one of the great affordable family tents.
I love this tent so much I bought two! It goes up easily and the front porch area is high-quality and makes a world of difference when tent camping. One of the few I found that has a nylon floor to the porch area. We have been using these tents for about two years with no issue.
Only 4 stars due to the bag it comes in. As with most tense, the bag that holds it could be larger. Its a big job trying to get it back into the bag every time. I still dont understand why companies dont make larger bags.
I love it! Me and my boyfriend took it to a campground and it was raining and the tent held up wonderfully. The patio gets wet when it rains so I recommend hanging a tarp over the front, but only if its raining. Great tent! Also - no place to put an electrical cord through the wall.
It is as advertised.Like all tents, the 6 person rating is stretching it. Three adults can co-habitat without being cramped, even when sheltering from the weather. Four is doable but tight. If there are 5 or 6 people, I am staying home. Its a fairly big tent and said it is 58 in the center. I am 510 and was able to stand up. It is 14x10 overall and the sleeping area is 9x10.
What I like:
-For a conventional tent it was easy to put up. A little unwieldy for one person but I usually dont have trouble with erections. Ive tried the instant tents and they are easy to put up. But they are also easily blown down, bent, buckled and collapsed.
-It is as advertised and has s name proudly displayed on the exterior. I dont trust tents without it. What are they ashamed of that they wont put their name on it for everyone to see?
-Price/value
-Covered vestibule or porch. I probably wont be lounging behind the screen, but it is a useful outdoor storage spot for stuff you dont want in the tent. I dont buy in to the criticism about it getting wet during rain. Of course it does. Youre camping. Its not going to be like home. Get over it. Stay home and maybe the others on this trip will appreciate that more than your complaints. did make the front part of the vestibule floor mesh so you can whisk away the water. Point the front downhill if you must.
-Its solid at a hefty 20 lbs. Ever wondered why other 6 person tents weigh a lot less? Theyre cheap, wont survive the wind or keep out the rain.
- Its pretty!! Umm, in a rugged manly sorta way.
Points off for:
-The main tent only has 4 stakes. It should have 6 and maybe even 7.
-The stakes, Ay Dios Mio! Whats with these cheap-azz stakes that everyone includes with their tents? They couldnt hold down a job flipping burgers much less a tent! Buy some better stakes. I prefer a solid 10 inches.
-The front of the tent will act like a sail in windy conditions. You may have to rotate the tent depending on the situation.
There you have it. I havent taken it for a test drive yet but will report back. I have high hopes it will not disappoint. Ive got to go buy some bigger stakes.
I set it up in the backyard and left it all week. It got a good dose of wind and a heck of a thunderstorm. It stayed put and stayed dry! I did add some carabiners and stronger guy lines.

Perfect with a few alterations..
