We bought this bed for my (now) 15 year old boy (63 tall) and it is the envy of all of his friends. He has a small room 11x10 and it makes the most of the space. The ceiling is only 8 and he can lean up in bed - not a full sit but it doesnt seem to bother him. It is sturdy enough for him though you will have some shake while climbing up and down. I had a friend from a government safety agency check it out and he said it meets all the safety standards. You should periodically double check the screws to be sure they havent loosened.
My son used a strip of LED lights installed under the bed to help with the lighting issue (it is dark underneath) and we used 2 black plastic floor mats for his normal size desk chair to roll on so nearly the whole area under the bed is covered by the mats (the room is carpeted). The desk is a bit higher than normal so be sure you measure seat height when getting a desk chair to try to keep all things ergonomically correct. The desk is a bit narrow -- we mounted his computer screen on the wall to free up space.
We also used some bed buddy trays attached to the side so he had a place to put bedside items. Further, at a home improvement store, you can find a remote control to control normal lamps etc so turning off light after getting into bed is a breeze.
We use full size sheets and comforter on top of his old mattress set in the frame. Since hes older, we did not worry about him rolling out/off the bed.
It did come in one large box that probably weighs close to 100 pounds. If the bedroom is upstairs, two people will have to carry the box because its awkward. You do want to assemble the bed in the room its going into. With the size of our room, we made sure everything else was removed as we assembled the bed. It is slightly movable once assembled (to snug into a corner) but you wouldnt want to move it very far.
Didnt come with all of the parts it was supposed to. Definitely needs to come with extra parts in general. Some parts break everytime you disassemble it. Super easy to put together. I did it myself in under an hour. It is kind of wobbly. Im 6 175 lb and it held me. Definitely good for a kid, but it gets really annoying climbing up and down as an adult. I got it because Im a college student with cramped quarters, but Im getting rid of it. It is cool and works for its I intended purpose, but gets old real quick.
Omg my sons room looks so organized and functional , putting it together was a snap! a little less then 2 hours with a mini drill. Slightly shaky but for the most part sturdy... huge bed up top. Hes 7 yrs old now... Im hoping this last him until he leaves lol JK but yea I have nothing negative to say great quality for the price! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!
I bought two. I think they are great. Easy to put together. Slightly different from the picture (the bulletin board part came black not silver). Needs to be against a wall or two or it will wobble.
This bed was a gift for my 8 year old and she absolutely loves it. While the full size is still large, it leaves the room much more open than the queen bed we previously had in there with the added bonus of having a desk included. The bed was heavy and seems very durable for a child. It was not too difficult to put together.
My son and I both love his new bed. Its great and sturdy, and he uses the desk every week night for his homework. Setup wasnt bad either. It was delivered quickly and in great shape, the delivery people even offered to put it together!
We bought this loft bed for our daughters room as she needed more space as well as a place to do her homework. We needed a full sized loft bed as we already had a full sized mattress for her that we had paid a good amount for when we purchased her previous bed a few years earlier. My daughter is very happy with this bed. It does shake a bit while climbing up it and when moving around on it, but not enough that she does (or I) does not feel safe. We like that it has two ladders to allow for various positioning within her room. The desk and shelves are very sturdy and the cork board is also a nice feature. Our video review is also attached.

It works, but gets annoying quickly.

Overall pretty good.
a little shaky. The small pieces fall out. Instructions could have been clearer. Overall pretty good.
