I mean, its a cost-effective desk/bunk bed. It does exactly what I thought it would for the price, but there are a couple of things that may be a deal breaker for you:
- Its a little wobbly. I used washers at all the bolt holes, which helped to stabilize the connections a bit by providing a larger surface area to compress. Kids dont mind the wobble, but I do worry that were going to end up with things falling off the desk area.
- The ladder is terrible. Ok for kids, but the rungs are just too narrow (and painful) for us adults to climb. Probably going to make some quick little wooden treads to put on each rung, as I suspect everyone will benefit.
It was easy enough for an adult to put together, though it took a couple of hours. It looks nice, and my daughter loves it.
But I would have preferred something a little more sturdy. It sways quite a bit when I lean on it with the slightest pressure. At over 200lbs, I would not feel at all comfortable climbing onto it even for a minute. But its fine for my 11yo.
The ladder steps are also big enough that the cats get up and down with little difficulty.
Im a 180lb college student living in a tiny apartment and wanted a loft bed to make the most of the space. Im also on a limited budget, so I was reluctant to purchase a seemingly flimsy metal loft bed that looks like its for kids. I read tons of reviews for different products, but ultimately decided to give this one a shot. Im glad I did. The base product is good and holds my weight fine. However, it is absolutely necessary to mount this bed (and others like it I imagine) to the wall using some sort of metal bracket. I went to a nearby hardware store and got crafty with it. You can drill extra holes into the metal and the screws bit just fine. Just make sure not to over tighten or theyll strip. The bed is very wobbly on its own, but one mounted to the wall in just 3 spots it really is suprisingly solid and stable.
Bought two of these for our twins to make the most out of the space in their room and so they both wouldnt fight over who gets to sleep on top. They both love their beds and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for one.
I have to go to Ace hardware today because like another person reviewed the bolts provided for a portion of the shelves do not fit. Like WTH.. its made putting this bed together a lot harder than it shouldve been. Also the bolts couldve and shouldve been labeled.
Was one of the only beds that had fast shipping available. Assembly was very easy did alone instructions were actually very well done with pics. And came with a bag of extra parts very sturdy. I wish the side rails were a bit higher but they do cover the entire mattress great desk and cork board. Daughter loves it took about 2 hours to do alone

Shave hours off assembly with a tool like this.
Assembly was easy with above mentioned tool and was able to assemble all by myself with no issues. Showed up very soon after ordering.
Not as sturdy as I would like
You get what you pay for
2 complaints, but would definitely buy again

I love it but....
The skinny ladder is my only complaint. Needs to be wider.
