This ottoman matched my Ashley sectional perfectly that I recently purchased, I purchased one other ottoman on and it was noticeably different so I returned it and paid a little more for this one...totally worth it!
This ottoman is great for the price! It's sturdy, well made, and has ample storage. It also is doesn't slam down which is great when you have a little one around that likes to open and close it. All around a great item.
I have 2 toddlers at home and I love that this is lower to the ground (so when they climb on it they don't have far to fall). Also, the lid stays up when opened and closes gently so I don't have to worry about their little fingers getting caught in either a slamming lid or the hinges. Lots of storage room; I fit about 4 throws and a pillow inside effortlessly. It matches perfectly with my black sofa and love seat. However, I only wish there were casters on the feet. It's a bit awkward when you have to move it at all. But otherwise, it's good quality for the price and I highly recommend.
I've had this for a few months now. I am a 40 yr old assembly-challenged woman and this was easy to assemble. However....as some others have posted, the legs do not match the black material of the ottoman. So I went and picked up some black stain, put on two coats, and voila-looks awesome now! It's large enough on the inside for cd's, books, remotes, blankets, or whatever. And the surface is rigid enough for a glass. Maybe not a stemmed wine glass but a stemless one. Great price point too.
