    Great piece of furniture

I did a ton of researching before purchasing this, including reading nearly all of the reviews. We ordered from , it was delivered in 2 days. It is solid wood, so the box is quite heavy but the delivery was taken to my garage, and my husband was able to slide it into the house when we were ready to put it together. We removed all the pieces and carried them to the bedroom where we were setting it up. It took the two of us (with 2 allen wrenches) 2 hours and 30 minutes to put together, even with our kids running around trying to help. There was one piece of the headboard that was missing a set of holes. My husband used his drill to make them, no problem. All of the pieces were in the box, nothing was broken. Once put together, it is extremely sturdy. This was my biggest concern. I was worried that because it was inexpensive, it would not be sturdy. I am very happy with the sturdiness. There is plenty of headroom between the top bunk and the ceiling, and enough headroom between the two bunks. Make sure your mattresses fit the guidelines, follow the directions step by step, perhaps get an allen wrench bit for your drill, and you will be set. Great price. Definitely beats the overpriced bunkbeds I have seen from the catalog companies, and just as beautiful.

    Highly recommend

Instructions are tough, no words at all. Pay attention to the details, though, and everything comes together nicely. Sister and I got ours together in about 2.5 hours Christmas morning. Would have been quicker if it hadnt been 2 AM. All assembled, plenty sturdy enough for a 2, 4, and 6 year old to play rough on. The chemical smell of the wood faded after a day or two.

    Love them!

Great quality for the money. The only drawback is the ladder not being slanted so the kids can get up and down a little easier.

    My kids love it!

These bunk beds are perfect for my boys (5 and 7). Very sturdy and a great deal for the price. My husband and I spent about 2 hours putting them together, and we had no problems. The box was very heavy, and we did help the Fed Ex driver a bit with getting it up to the house. Im sure she would have managed on her own with her hand truck but it would not have been easy. Once we got it inside the front door, my husband and I opened the box and carried the pieces up the stairs instead of trying to carry the entire box.

Sturdy and pretty, but easily knicked and chipped

Pros: / Sturdy; my husband and I have been on the top bunk (1 at a time, of course!). We did cut 2 sheets of plywood to put on top of the slats to make it even more steady and solid, as our kids mattresses were thin (from IKEA). With thicker mattresses, Im sure just using the slats would be fine. / Good instructions; easy to assemble, but still took myself and husband a good part of a day to get it all together just cuz of all the pieces involved. / Nice color (we ordered the chocolate one) / Like that the ladder was interchangeablecan put it on either side. And, the ladder didnt come out from the bed and take up more space in the room. Nice space/saving feature! Cons: / The finish isnt as great as they claim. The stupid stickers they put to label the parts wouldnt come off very easily, and many of them took the stain/finish off when we tried to take the stickers off. Annoying! / The wood is VERY soft, so it must be cheap pine. So, claim that it is solid wood is a bit deceiving. Yes, it is wood.not particle board. But, it is not high/quality wood. We knicked the bed a few times putting things together and getting our plywood in/place. I could make dents in it with my finger nails. / Becuz of the cheap wood, I am disappointed with the price. It should have been cheaper than 300. Think about it: 150 per bedthats not cheap.at least, not for us. But, in pricing other beds out.this one seemed in/line with other ones that had poorer reviews for stability. Safety was 1 for us for our kids, so we went for this one seeing that other reviews stated it was nice and solid/sturdy. So far, I agree!

    Great set of beds.

Bought these for my grandchildren. Easy to put together. Took 2 of us about 30 minutes (women / no men!). Fit together great only 1 part split out when screwing together. I e/mailed the seller and they sent a replacement right away. Kids love them and they are working great for us. Kids ages 9, 6, 5. We adults have got on the beds and they seem very sturdy.

    Happy boys

My 5 and 2 1/2 year old LOVE the bunk bed! It is very sturdy and the perfect size for young boys. One of the things that attracted me to this item was that the ladder was attached, creating more play space in the room AND not allowing my boys to detach the ladder. My husband did have to drill a few holes a little deeper for the bolts to fit all the way, but other than that it was an easy build.
