When it came time to replace our worn-out daybed, I searched far and wide. I chose this one for the sturdiness of the design and added bracing. It's very sturdy with the design being kind of low and unobtrusive. The black color helps with that as well. Construction wasn't bad. In use, the bed is very quiet...no squeaking or movement at all. I'm very pleased. And, the price was very affordable. It's all good.
We were looking for a wood daybed, but had trouble finding one at a decent price and in stock. Decided to try metal, and I'm glad we did. It seems very durable, it feels like a better option. It looks nice, has good under-bed storage space, and seems durable and comfortable (that really depends on the mattress you buy) so it looks more like a sofa than a bed.
I have been on the search for a bed for my daughters room. The space under the bed is great for storage bins. I'll use it as a sitting area to read, etc mostly, and still have a comfortable spot for an overnight guest when needed. I am NOT very handy, but managed to put this together myself without much trouble. It is surprisingly heavy/sturdy for the price I paid.

I chose this frame because I liked the additional legs underneath for additional support. I bought a daybed cover set which hides the bottom. It's great if you have a small living space because you can store stuff underneath.
Extremely happy with this purchase. It is a beautiful well-made sturdy daybed. In a little more than an hour I unwrapped carried the pieces to where they needed to be and put it together all by myself and I am a 50 year-old man! Believe me if I can do it anybody can! Very high quality for a low price and it came with all the tools and they were very well packaged and all the pieces were marked and the instructions were very clear . Everything fit perfectly and I can't wait to get it made up and use it. It's very pretty and you won't be disappointed.
Assembly is straightforward, but pro tip: when assembling, don't tighten the screws all the way in until ALL the pieces are put into place. Just get the screws (or bolts) in so that the pieces stay together, THEN tighten everything. If you tighten everything as you go along, some of the pieces won't have enough give to allow other pieces to fall into place.It seems pretty sturdy so far. No wobbling, no squeaking. Great value for the price.
I slept in this bed for over a week. It has steel slates. Really needs a box spring and a better mattress maybe to really make it better. If you have a small budget do it
It’s a pretty bed, but I had trouble assembling it by myself. I blame the directions. You definitely need a second person on hand to help. I’ve assembled other beds alone and didn’t have this kind of trouble. But it is cheap.
