Am so happy and relieved to find no offensive odors whatsoever, and to read that no flame retardant chemicals were added to this pouf. While it is a bit stiffer than I expected, the light weight, size, velvet fabric and muted "turquoise" color (more like grayish light teal) are perfect for my needs.
Planning on adding a loft....this is intended as my very first piece of furniture to define the decor... Truly stunning as well as practical...Nice price...reliable shipping! Love it!!!
The quality of this pouf is far better than other poufs that I have bought and returned in the past. Worth paying a little extra for a pouf that will maintain its shape. It also looks exactly like it does in the photos.
Lovely piece but not sturdy - the top button that ties the cover pleats together popped off within a few days of use, it's annoyingly hanging on dangling loosely but for want of a few more stiches.
Unfortunately a side effect of all those pleats is it catches dust upon its surface easily.
In actual use however its lightweight and comfortable as a footrest, however, as a stool, it cannot take the weight of an adult directly as it went slightly flat.
