The bed is solid and we'll built. It is a bit bigger than the mattress we bought for it, but the mattress specifications could be off. It was very easy to assemble and the instructions were, for the most part, clear.
I bought 2 of these beds for my 4 year and 9 year old grandsons when they moved to their new house and couldn’t use the bunk beds any longer. They are great quality and son in law said they were easy to put together.
The quality of the wood was pretty good and instructions were fairly straightforward though they could be better labeled. There were some nicks in the wood probably from shipping but are largely unnoticeable.
