    Difficult

I bought 3, I had to hire 2 very handy men to assemble them. One unit had a complete wrong peg for holding a shelf and another unit was entirely missing 2 black but like thing, so they had to go to the hardware store and purchase the pieces. I bought these on Primedays, but honestly saved nothing after assembly. They arent super sturdy, but do what I wanted for my nic nac obsession. Im hoping to curtail some dusting

Good padding and still have damage on the side panel.

3 inches long scratch/crack upon delivered. The shipping box cracked open.

    Assembly nightmare

The instructions were just pictures with almost no guidance and the back piece was incorrectly cut. After forcing it in, it shattered and now Im having to find an alternate way to make it work

    Good looking and solid contruction

I bought this cabinet to modify as an indoor greenhouse for my wife. Still in process of adding fans and hiding the wiring. But it is a great cabinet to place in front of window to allow in natural light and still have lots of grow lights. I added wheels instead of using included feet. USB surge protector in base to power fans and lights. Built my own shelves for airflow and to house the fans and hide wiring. Added wood trim to hide wheels and wiring at bottom and top. Once I finish I will include to final picture but I wanted to show just what can be done with a cabinet like this. It is a good display case but as others have said. Instructions were bad. I had to figure out for myself how to assemble the Hinges. The nuts in the boards were installed to deeply. The screws for the brackets could not reach threads. Had to use a Allen wrench to back them out to be flush. Still for the money it is hard to beat this cabinet. Especially for a project like mine.

Heavy. Sturdy. Difficult to assemble. Looks great.

I have no idea how much this thing weighs, but it was shipped in two wooden crates inside cardboard boxes. One box must have weighted at least 80 pounds (36 kg in non/retard units), and the other was probably 40 pounds (18 kg). I live in a second story apartment with no elevator, and FedEx delivered my package to the stairwell. The weight is all glass. I had no idea glass could be so heavy. Anyway, I sense that this is a very long/lasting piece in the several hours that I spent putting it together. Nothing seems cheap about this product. If I had to complain about anything, it would definitely be the instructions. Dont misunderstand: over the years, Ive put together dozens of dressers, tv stands, etc. You name it Ive assembled it. This display case, however, is a pain in the ass. First, the instructions are terrible. At one point, the instructions say to assemble the top panel to the rest of the display case. Then you are instructed to attach the doors, and to slightly lift the top panel to do so. At this point, some of you might be thinking that isnt unreasonable. What I havent mentioned yet is that the top panel is tenuously held in place by hardware that doesnt fit quite right. True, I might have overlooked something, but it is difficult to tell when some of the instructions are, Attach the doors before installation. (There are no diagrams for much of this/ just after the fact pictures that arent always zoomed in that well, and quite a few times feature obsolete hardware from older versions of the product.) Time to install. At least two hours. I did it myself. I think that the installation time with two people might actually be longer than doing it yourself. (Because of the difficulty with the instructions, there is surely to be a lot of arguing about what the instructions mean). The most frustrating aspect of assembly was getting the doors to shut without having the doors rub against each other or the side wall glass pieces. Honestly, if I knew how difficult it would be, I would have paid for the expert assembly, because after about three hours, I gave up and admitted defeat on one of the doors that doesnt fit quite right (I have to lift the handle to close the door). All that aside, this is truly a fantastic looking display case at a great price.

Nice display case for the money.

By the reviews I read I was expecting a nightmare to assemble. This wasnt the case. Obviously a lot of people havent shopped at IKEA. The case was packaged very well and shipping was quick. The instructions were only OK. Assembly was easy and straight forward. Watching the video helped. Assembly would definitely have been easier with a second person, but I was able to assemble the case myself in about an hour and a half. Including a flathead screwdriver for phillips head screws was a little comical. Overall a very nice looking case.

    Assembly instructions are vague

Once assembled, this is a great cabinet! Good and sturdy. The instructions, however, are incredibly vague. It took some trial and error to figure out. Thankfully, the listing has a video, so that was a little helpful. I also had a hard time putting in the magnet at the bottom of the cabinet for the door. It wouldnt go in all the way, so I just removed it. Cabinet door still catches just fine with only one magnet.

Poor Instructions, poor tools, poor fit

In the end, its a decent display case. But it involved a 3 hour installation from me and my roomate. You will need a second person to install this. Working with tempered glass with such poor instructions can be really stressful , I was constantly fearful of shattering. The instructions are laughably bad and honestly insulting. I suppose there are more handy people than me who would have an easier time making sense of things but it did not need to be this complex and poorly illustrated. The doorway does not close properly. We were extremely careful and attentive to instructions provided but I genuinely think the magnetic door stopper simply does not work properly. The screwdriver provided also does not work at all you will need your own. The directions and instillation felt purposefully confusing, I wouldnt reccomend it unless you have someone handy or has assembled a product like this before.

    Great value for the money

I bought this cabinet and I love it. I could be picky and maybe complain about extremely minor details but in my opinion theyre not even worth mentioning. What I will say is that its definitely a 2 person assembly. I believe the instructions say that but ignored that and did it myself anyway and that couldve ended bad lol.
