My use for this is off label, so please take that into account when you read this.
This loft solved my work/from/home problems. I live in a small apartment with no spare bedroom to turn into an office. Storage space is almost non/existent, as is privacy.
Enter the loft. Once assembled, it offers a very usable space for sectioning off part of a communal living area. Ive included some photos with this review to give you an idea of the set/up. I work underneath, and I use the space above (where the mattress and sleeping people would usually be) for storage/ being mindful, of course, of the weight limit. I am about 160cm/63in tall (5ft 3in), and getting underneath the loft is not a problem for me. When I sit underneath it/ even in a chair/ theres plenty of headroom.
The construction of the loft is great for add ons. I purchased some very strong magnetic hooks from , and I attached them to some of the beams, and now I have a place to hang my headphones and scissors and things. One of the pictures shows the burden basket that Ive hung at the entrance to my office space (leave your burdens in the basket and focus on the task at hand).
I also strung up some twinkle lights underneath. This makes the space relaxing and pleasant. Across the opening I use folding screen, and so I get a bit of visual privacy from the rest of the apartment, and at night, the same screen allows me to leave the office by closing it across the loft entrance.
This has been a perfect solution for my need for a bit of privacy when working from home. Its so comfortable, in fact, that I kind of like just hanging out in the space. Its like a little vortex of creativity and good vibes.
I assembled it myself with hand tools. I didnt find it to be too difficult. It took about 2 hours from start to finish. There are a lot of parts, but many of them are simply the slats that hold up the mattress, so dont be too overwhelmed when you open the box. It goes together pretty easily in several big chunks.
My only regret is that I didnt buy this earlier. Really Happy!!
Easy to put up much taller than what I thought but its a great I want two of them my kids love them makes the room look bigger and with the space underneath they just enjoy these beds I would definitely recommend getting this if your kids share a space or just to make more space for one child to enjoy their room Great find!!
I love this bed. It shipped and got to my house a few days earlier than expected which was nice. It took me 2 and a half hours to put together on my own. The directions were very clear and easy to follow! I just ordered another one for my other daughter! This was definitely a good choice.
Its good . My 12 year old loves it. We put his desk and bean bag underneath. Looks cool. But it does wobble. We were left with extra pieces like screws and the plastic clips that go on bars. Saving them in ziplock bag with the instruction book. This is a cute design,
Bought this for my grandson age 10. He loves it. Its sturdy. The rail is high enough for safety with a 6 inch mattress. The ladder rails are slim and we put pool noodles around them so they didnt hurt his feet. Worth the money! I was not paid for this review!!! Dont over think it, youll love it!!
This took awhile to assemble but it was easy doing so. Instructions are straight forward and easy to ready. Its super sturdy as well Really nice looking furniture.
We purchased two of these for our kids. They were fairly easy to assemble, and seem pretty sturdy. My 7 year old daughter had a little trouble climbing the ladder, because you have to step over the side rail, but after a day she had the hang of it. I like having the rail going all around, not open at the ladder, because it makes the kids feel safer. A ladder at both ends is good, because it gives us more versatility in where to put the bed. Definitely a good bed for the price. Happy with purchase

I was a little hard being a single mom but I got it done. Please stop putting the screws where we cant reach them. Im pleased with my purchase.
