I like this purchase, my son is delighted and it looks good. Its also as tall as any loft bed should be IMO, Im at eye level with him on there and thats about right. Im mainly writing to help those buying a mattress to go with this.on the QA it says any mattress between 6 and 9 but when I assembled this bed today, there was a prominent sticker saying no more than 7. Hard to know if theyre being overly cautious but the risk of a kid falling off this thing is not worth it. Luckily stopped my mattress order in time and I chose a 6 replacement but I want to save you the hassle. Better then I thought
My 11 year old son loves his new loft bed since he has a small 110 sq ft room and we struggle with adequate space. This allows him room for his gaming desk and chair and will even allow for a small clothing drawer. I cant speak for easiness to put together since I paid for the install. It took 2 guys nearly two hours to put together so Im thankful I didnt try and put together alone. Does sound a bit shaky when he climbs off and on the bed, but we havent braced it to wall yet so that may be why. Overall we are pleased with our purchase. Did not disappoint
After the bed was put together it looked like it was very solid and nothing would harm it. WRONGO! If your kid is 150lbs+, I would not recommend. The thin bars that support the mattress and your child will bend. and keep bending. I had to go out and get some MDF board to reinforce this but I dont know how long thats even going to last. We need better construction material to support our kids. It doesnt matter if the outside is built like a fortress, if what is supposed to support your kid is paper thin and can be bent by hands (3/4 rods). Weight limit says 250 lb. NOPE I was actually pretty disappointed.
Got this for my daughter when we were doing a bedroom makeover. She loves sleeping up high and having a couch in her room to chill with her friends. You wont regret it!
When I bought it, it wasnt immediately evident that there was an opening in the top of both ends of the bed. I dont think it was in the description of the bed, and the pictures werent the best on showing. However looking back at the original posting you can clearly see the 2 openings.
The only reason I bring it up is you will need to close off one end so your kid doesnt fall out while sleeping, and they didnt include anything in the box to help with that. Or you could push one end of the bed against the wall.
My only other beef with the bed is how they ship it. They go ahead and install the plastic end caps on the 4 bed posts, and out of 8, 4 of the plastic caps were broken during shipping. They need to package the plastic end caps separate.
Other than the above, the bed is perfect, well made and sturdy. I put some grip tape on the steps so they arent slippery, but thats my choice. Great bed, highly recommend. Pay attention to the pictures!
Ordered 2 of these for my daughters. Very sturdy bed!!! Easy to assemble, but it will take 2 people for assembly. When I ordered the beds, the estimated shipping was 10/12 days out. I was surprised when the arrived 7 days early.
My only issue is that one of the boxes was damaged during shipping. This caused a step rung of one of the ladders to be missing. Luckily there is a ladder on both ends so the ladder missing a rung is against the wall.
Kris at was excellent, kept me informed and very helpful During the quest for a replacement part. I still do not have the part but the company has messaged me to rectify the problem. Would recommend! My girls love them! Love it
Bed was really easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I was planning on using the included hardware to attach to the wall but no need. Assembled this alone with no issues. We have no dislikes
In my opinion, this is a great product for who I bought it for. My young daughter loves it, it allows ample room for her to play underneath and is sturdy. Most bunk beds are going to wobble a little bit when shaken, but this is sturdier than other bunk bed/loft beds Ive used in the past. Pretty easy to assemble, although all instructions seem to have a bit of a weird area that takes a minute to figure out. All in all, I find it to be great for my monies worth. It was packaged nicely
