It was really hard to find a canopy bed for our daughter, as most of them had a platform bottom (not used with a box spring), and we had just gotten a whole mattress set for her less than a year ago. Keeping the box spring was important to us, as in our experience, it is way more comfortable with it than without it.
This bed is beautiful, and our daughter adores it. It went together well, and is very sturdy. The only thing I would change is the top rails could be more solid. They hold her canopy well, but I feel like they might sag under certain conditions.
Its so pretty! We moved our daughter to a big girl room and this bed is perfect! Doesnt have firm slats on bottom tho so we had to add a platform and a frame also came with a small chip. But other then that beautiful!
We got this bed for our 10 year old. Bed was assembled in about 30 mins with no issues. Went to put the mattress on and there is a 4 inches gap. Plus we will need to purchase a box spring because her mattress falls under the bar.

You need to place that the bench does not come with the frame this is misleading and I wouldve never spent that much on this bed alone
