The cushion is possibly a faux leather and is easy to clean and great quality. It goes beautiful as an addition to a dining table for more room/seating. Decent bench. If your buying it then your obviously on a budget like myself, so keep your expectations aligned. While it doesnt have a heavy solid sturdiness too it, it is strong. The leather isnt anything to write home about, but it does look very nice when paired with the dark natural wood table from the same company. Very good value for high quality.
