This item is of excellent quality and (by far) the best packaged item I have purchased. The attention to detail is commendable. Every item was securely packaged and protected against damage. The instructions were well written and every piece fit together in a precision manner. In this day and age, it is surprising to receive an item that actually meets or exceeds the manufacturer description.this one does.
This bed was easy enough to assemble. Sturdy. You will need a rubber mallet though. The two side pieces have a metal plug that has to fit in a small hole in the headboard. Was had to push in. We had to lay the headboard down on the floor and push it in vertically. Then the last footboard piece and two metal sections that have to slide into the side pieces. Had to use the mallet to get them in, dont slide in easily by hand. And then also used the mallet to get the last slate pieces in. Wasnt hard, then just dont snap in easily. A memory foam mattress will hand over the sides a bit. There r brackets in the frame that are supposed to keep a box spring in, but wont work for a memory foam mattress. Very very happy
Solid frame. Some of the pieces werent exactly easy to put together. Had to finagle the screw into the holes. The 4 pieces that are supposed to hold the mattress in place were useless in my case. It slides side to side right over them. They need to be longer. length wise. Emailed the company but havent heard anything back on the modifications.
Sturdy / heavy frame and headboard. Instructions somewhat clear, took about 45 minutes to put together (15 of the 45 minutes spent unpacking and carrying parts to bedroom). Comfortable and sturdy
