UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and offered reparations for my complaints below. Good customer support changes this from a 2/star to a 4/star review. Original review is below.
Twin over Twin, under/bed drawer, white, side stairs. Buying furniture online is a gamble, and this one was not a win for me. Roll your dice elsewhere.
The good / overall the thing feels sturdy enough and actually looks decent. Pics and measurements seem accurate. Probably not sturdy enough for anyone over 120lbs, but fine for kiddos.
Now the bad.
Wood quality is terrible. This is the primary flaw that bugs me. The slats that support the mattress are completely unsanded and very splintery. Even some of the painted parts are splintering and have some pointy exposed parts. I fully expect to rip holes in several sets of sheets due to the poor finish on these parts. And regularly pick splinters out of my kiddos hands.
Instructions / printed on a tiny booklet, which makes it difficult to discern important details like part orientation. Where screw holes should be in relation to other parts, etc. Be prepared to look 2/3 steps ahead and make educated guesses in order to avoid backtracking later due to putting something on backwards. Im pretty good at this and was fooled twice anyways.
Assembly process / give yourself a lot of time as there are a lot of pieces. Some steps are very awkward too, especially attaching the side stairs. You need to simultaneously be 63 to reach the high/up screws, and <8 thick to reach the bottom screws from beneath the bottom bunk. Or <150lbs so you can lay on the aforementioned super/splintery slats. At 510 and on the heavier side, I went through all the naughty words I know several times over.
Bottom drawer could not be assembled. The base of the drawer is that rigid cardboard that youll find on the back of inexpensive book shelves and other flat/pack furniture. Its flimsy buy oh well. The problem is that the grooves (in the wood) that are supposed to accept the cardboard are too narrow. The cardboard does not fit into the grooves, so the drawers cannot be assembled. So here I am with a flat/head screwdriver and some sandpaper trying to widen the grooves just enough. I may just trash the drawers and slide some ugly bins beneath the bed. Dont over think it, youll love it!!
Item was damaged upon delivery but company was quick to resolve issue. Difficult to put together and instructions were not great. After it was done my kid loves it! Better than the picture!
The product is good for the value. The bed and adjacent stairs are very sturdy. The bottom of the drawer is the flimsiest of the product and is not built on a track (which is actually a positive; less assembling, and one less thing that can malfunction later). The instructions are average at best. Towards the end and especially with drawer assembly, you must heavily rely on the pictures. One opportunity for improvement for the company is to include adhesive non/skid strips for the stairs and to indicate direction of parts (i.e. facing stairs, or facing outward vs inward) either on the piece or in the directions. Also, avoid printing on the pieces, only on the wooden ends, as with most of the parts. Another good idea would be to provide backing similar to the under stair storage, to go under the top bunk to cover the rails/rungs. A sturdier drawer bottom would be better. Overall, very happy with the product! Pro tip: This project is exorbitantly easier to assemble with a drill! I could not imagine doing without. Invest in one, if you can! Im pleased with my purchase.
The only thing I didnt like is the drawers. I thought there would be something you actually pull them out from but there isnt. They just sit on the floor under the bed for you to pull out. I would have preferred something to reinforce the guard rail on the top bunk but Im over all very happy with these bunk beds. The kids love them and they are very sturdy. The ladder is easy for the kids to climb up and the top bunk is not too high for them to hit their head on the ceiling haha. They look very nice. Happy with purchase
For some that are just beginning to assemble furniture, Id recommend serious consideration of having a pro put this together. While not an overly complex piece to assemble, its large, instructions leave a bit to be desired, and without some power tools to assist in a LOT of allen wrenching your hands will cramp/guaranteed.
With that said, its a beautifully simple bunk bed and I dont know a 4 year old that wouldnt light up seeing this as their new bed!
You dont need box springs for your mattresses. Thatll shave a couple hundred off overall costs.
We had no issues with shipping damages. Packaging was ample and well cushioned. Perfect size and color for my needs.

Cheaply
Cheaply made hopefully it hopld up at least a couple of years however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
One year end and is still like new
We got this for our preteen and he loves it! Sturdy and has plenty of storage I. The drawers Really nice looking furniture.
They are very nice. The drawers need to be modified so they arent just sitting on the floor.
