I was skeptical at first with purchasing this twin bed frame for my 4 year old, bc the reviews are very mixed. However, Im very glad I went ahead and bought it bc its been great so far! The drawers work perfectly, it fits all of my sons clothing so well. Im not sure why some people complain about the drawers being useless. Maybe theyre not putting things together correctly. Everything works well and the bed itself is sturdy and even fits when I lie down with my son. He loves it and I would definitely recommend purchasing this, if youre looking for a twin bed frame. We have a twin mattress and also use a bunky board to set between the mattress and the frame. Its a beautiful color and so far its going great! The bed itself is very heavy, as my husband had to have my brother in law help him carry it in. But putting the bed together was simple enough, if you follow directions. It only took my husband maybe 30 mins max. Only thing I would recommend is shopping around before purchasing this off Amazon bc I got it for about 30 cheaper through another retailer. Be sure to have it
Looks great, but the drawers did not function well. The fronts all came apart within a week of use, the press board construction of the side panels allowed the screw pins to simply pull out . I was able to put them all back together and filled the holes with glue.dont know how long it will last. Its not bad its just not great.
I think i may have already reviewed this bed and gave it a good score, after having it a few months I have to say I am very upset with the quality of it. Initially putting it together one of the screws hammered a hole through the back of the bed but it was easy to hide so I wasnt that mad. But putting the drawers together is a waste because every single one of them fell apart. I used gorilla glue to try to salvage them but still they fall apart. I guess the bed itself is ok, I just wish the materials and hardware were of better quality. I guess I had it in my head that this bed would be made of wood. Not the case. highly disappointed!!!
Drawers are flimsy. One fell apart within a few weeks. Spoke with customer service at the supplier. They were not helpful in the least. I would not buy again. Needs improvement in quality.
