Love it. The good: package arrived on time, no pieces missing with few blemishes, all fasteners were in a single heat/sealed package, very verbose and well expressed assembly instructions.
The bad: no spare fasteners, if you loose just one screw, bolt or dowel, it is a scourge thru your garage or a trip to a hardware store.
The ugly: while the instruction were well documented and expressed, I disagree with the order of assembly presented, I swear whomever wrote these instructions did not put this together themselves to get a reality check on arrangement of the sub/assemblies. Furniture assembly instructions to do fall under OSAH nor US Customs jurisdiction so I doubt if there was any third party review.
Overall, a good product for the money. Would purchase again as needs fit.
This bed came with holes drilled incorrectly for one of the posts, and one tongue for a cross brace damaged. The hardware is typical low quality Chinese soft , but using a clutched drill with good bits makes stripping bolts a non issue. The instructions are just pictures and many parts are not labeled, but it isnt difficult to figure out. We were scratching our heads for a bit until we were certain there was no possible way for the post to work without drilling holes for the dowels and cam lock bolts. Due to the cam lock bolts, I do not have the desire to make it work by drilling my own holes. I just ordered another one an plan to either get the post I need out of that one or just use that one and return the other. Either way one or both will be getting returned. Reading reviews of this model on other websites through a google search, improperly made parts happen, in fact several indicated the exact issue this one has. My son will be camping out in his sisters room for a bit as the new wont be here for 5 days. A bit frustrating. I will update this review if the new bed is not defective. We have reached out to the company as well without much luck so far, just a lot of run around.
Update: I received the new bed and the parts were manufactured correctly, so at least they are not all like that. The bed is seemingly decent quality, the wood is very soft so expect some imperfections as the result of shipping. I am not too concerned with scratches small dents etc since I am sure my son will likely scratch it up through use. The bed is not as solid as my daughters loft, but it isnt dangerously wobbly either. I may add L brackets to attach to the wall to keep it from wobbling. He likes it and it does add a good amount of floor space. I was concerned with the height as its a little taller than my daughters loft, but with 8 ceilings and a 6 mattress there is enough clearance even with a 52 ceiling fan. Interesting.
Its a good bed overall but the hardware is not great, a few hex bolts were easily stripped and I know it isnt my fault because Ive recently assembled about 5 other things that came with the dreaded Allen wrench. Needed to drill a few extra holes and add some corner braces to make it work. My daughter likes it, though, and it seems safe. Poor construction.
Save some money and buy this. Sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble. Definitely not a one person job for me. My son loves it. The stairs are wide enough not to hurt the feet as he goes up and down.
Wish it was just two inches more of underbed area but it will do. The wooden beam under bed has sharp edges so I will have to cover them because my little one will end up hitting his head. But it is an easy fix.
Biggest problem, it is missing one screw labeled D.
Expected. Im an adult and weigh like 135. My partner and I often sleep on it together and its fine/ really makes good use of my small bedroom. But after about 3 months its started to wobble. The bolts that keep the bed together on the sides wiggle themselves loose (its fine, theyre really long bolts and the bed wouldnt have ever come apart). They need to be tightened every month or so if adults are going to be getting up and down every day. Otherwise Im happy with it.
We put bed up end of July , my granddaughter who is 14 and weighs 100 lbs, is the only one who uses the bed. Today, she discovered the bed and the ladder have huge cracks in them . Very upset and disappointed . A little over three months and its falling apart. And Im sure theres nothing they will do for me. I dont recommend this bed to anyone . Sad and disappointed I hope it is sturdy.
Good deal and was easy to put together. Love this bed! This can comfortably fit two people if needed. Its sturdy and looks sharp. My son sleeps in here and his dog sleeps underneath. Weve built forts underneath and it truly adds a neat touch to his room. Hes sleeping better in this bed than he was in a standard height queen bed.
I love it space saver I am back to buy another one. I absolutely love this bed. I think the only issue I had with this bed was that the wood pieces that you lay across the bed for mattress support didnt have holes, you had to line them up how you thought they should be and drill the screws in. Which wasnt much of an issue or setback really. I bought this bed for my 7 year old daughter to give her a bit more space in her room, I ended up turning the underbed part into a little hangout for her with cool lights, toys storage, a rug and now just waiting on her chair and to put up her mermaid netting. Putting the bed together overall was fairly easy, my daughter helped me build it so that could tell you right there. It does come in two boxes, or at least it did for me and I had all 3 of my children help me bring it upstairs because my husband was at work and I broke one of my wrists multiple times so its a bit weaker then normal. Was a good experience for us though!
Easy directions. Definitely a two/person job as described on the manual in the packaging installation can be a little bit of a headache and if you plan on moving the assembling can be a bit of a nightmare but not impossible. The frame itself is nice I do like it. I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it, gives her so much more play space and storage space under her bed in her room.
It came today and i have no directions no Screws how am I supposed to put this back together without directions or screws that are sopost to come with it? Three Stars.

Poor manufacturing and quality control.

Great (but keep the Allen key nearby)
