It took so long to find a low/profile sized bed frame with storage and NO head board. This is perfect!! I was worried about the quality because its particle board and inexpensive but we havent had any issues yet. It is, however, time consuming to assemble. I didnt use a drill and it took me like 10 hours (with help). You really need 2 people. Would buy again! Easy as it says.
Drawers could be significantly deeper without meeting in the middle.
JRN nuts that come from manufacturer are too small! (See picture) Fall out of bed frame when you try to assemble: I had to go get my own from the hardware store. Might scream while assembling.
This bed frame is very sturdy and looks great. When it arrived it sat in the box for months before I was able to finally put it up. Upon setting it up, I found I was missing 2 pieces of hardware. I contacted the manufacturer and within a week I had the missing hardware replaced, free of charge. 100 recommend the product, as well as the company that makes it! Love this!
Doesnt come with a headboard, but the person i bought it for loves it. The bed is high, she is short, and now calls the bed her throne. The drawers are large enough for all her stuff, so it freed up a lot of space she wouldnt have otherwise. Just Buy It.
The reason for 4 stars is the following One of the 6 drawers gets a little stuck when opening and closing. I have tried several times to loosen and tighten the screws but still needs a little extra tug or pull to open or shut. Not too much of a big deal I guess, my 2 year old can open/close it. Just doesnt flow as easy as the other five. Also, when I opened the package, one of the head/foot boards has a dent in it. (see picture attached) It looks like someone let the box fall on a rock or something. The hole was through the box which caught my attention right away and sure enough, the board damaged. It does not affect the sturdiness of the bed, so instead of going though the hassle of shipping it back, I decided to just use that piece as the headboard so you cant see it while against the wall. Of course, a NEW bed without ANY damage would have been ideal. Maybe better packaging would have protected it better.
For the positives: Lots of storage space. Seems sturdy so far but time will tell. Have only been using just under 2 months. Pretty easy to put together. I dont consider myself very strong and I was able to put the bed together with the help of 2 toddlers while my husband was at work. My 4 year old could not wait to sleep in it, so I carried all the pieces upstairs and got to work on it. Help from my husband or any adult would have been nice, but it got done and thats all that matters.
Also, the mattress lays on slats of wood, not one solid piece of wood. (see pictures) Before you lay the mattress on top, make sure you didnt leave any tools or toys inside. I had to fish out plenty of toys before putting the mattress on. Overall, so far so good. I like the look, the storage, the ease of assembly, and most importantly, my son absolutely loves his bed. Get it!!
Great bed if you take your time and follow the directions it goes together perfect when it comes to the last two pieces headband and footboard start all four screws and srew each a little at a time wor around the bed until all are snug my daughter and I put it together in about two hours like I said take your time she loves it. Very sturdy.
Becareful about the wood. It isnt super hard but it works. Its such a nice platform bed. Easy to assemble and peice together. The drawers have a weight limit so do not just pile on textbooks like I did but i love the look of the bed. I got cats so im not struggling with cats hidning under it and theres so much storage!
That also goes you cant get a night stand because the drawers on either side will then be blocked. Choose wisely! Cool!!

Be prepared to spend all day putting this and the matching head board together.
If you have a dresser or night stand too close to the head of the bed you wont be able to fully open the head end drawers. It was perfect!
