These boxes are a bridal shower gift to be held in the near future. However, we were able to put them together with little effort. They appear to be sturdy, hoping the pressed wood will survive wear and tear. Not so bad.
There was damage to the face of the headboards bottom board on the finished side. It was scraped up and had a small chunk out of the edge. I had to use a brown and black marker to cover the scrapes and fill in the missing chunk. It was very heavy and the box was so long I could not see sending it back. Very well made.
The only drawback, well, it isnt super sturdy, made out of pressed wood (particle board). It should hold up as long as no one is jumping onto the bed, or causing the bed to wobble, as the headboard, even when securely attached to the frame, was wobbling at the top. We set it up as close to the wall as possible, still had some wobble in it because of the floor molding so top isnt flush with the wall, and would bang against the wall with movement of the bed/mattress. We modified by attaching extra wood slat and padding along the back and top of the headboard so to prevent any movement, we were afraid that might over time this weaken the connections to the frame. But the inexpensive price made this buy reasonable for us, and we are happy with it. Well made and packaged.
This arrived two days earlier than expected, and was a cinch to put together. It was also nice that it arrived in 5 different boxes so I could get it in the elevator more easily. The only mistake I made is ordering the mattress too late// so we wound up sleeping on this wooden frame for 3 days, while we waited for a mattress. Great!

Easy to assemble sturdy great for small spaces
Bought it for a small room to add extra storage without ta up a lot of room. Overall good.
