My son had this chair put together before I got home from work, so I didnt get a chance to see that the chair legs had sharp something on the bottom. I still havent turned the chair over to look, but I have put my hand under. It feels like a plastic piece that hadnt been trimmed appropriately. I attached felt furniture pads underneath, which seem to be working well to protect the floor. Unfortunately, there is some damage to my new linoleum floor, see picture. Check the legs before you install them.
Other than that, my family likes this chair. As other reviewers have stated, it is firm, very firm. Its a good place to put on shoes in the morning, and we like to watch TV with the chaise pulled out. Ive even taken a nap on it. My son loves it. The chaise pulls out easily and the storage space below is a nice bonus.

Bottom caps are sharp

Very comfortable
Very comfortable. Only thing i disliked was you have to put it in the cover yourself. Good quality though.
