This arrived is great condition even though it weighed over 100 lbs. Very few scrapes and gouges on the box. We unpacked it in the cabana where it will live. Each piece was well marked, right down to the bags of screws and hardware. As promised, there was 1 extra screw/fastener in each bag. The step by step instruction for building were probably the best I have seen for knock down furniture.
Our only disappointment is that the doors are slightly misaligned / one sits about 1/4 lower than the other so that is a minor fix.
It is solid wood, not pressed wood and the stainless steel top is perfect for outdoors.
It didnt take long to put it together, looks Great, only thing stainless steel top scratches very easy, I put a sponge like top over it. We use it for our hot beverage
Perfect! Took a few hours to put together but very sturdy everything fit perfectly. The top is heavy and durable. We kept the spice rack and towel holder off to fit where we wanted it great purchase!
There is plenty of storage in this unit for mixing bowls, mixers and more.

My kitchen lacked counter space and had an abundance of floor space. This island fit beautifully and filled my work surface needs great. The cupboard capacity is large enough to fit all my pots and pans, the drawers are deep and hold all of my lids. I keep a cork hot board on one end and a glass cutting board on the other, leaving plenty of work surface in the middle. I put it together myself and it took a while but it is large, it wasnt difficult but I assemble all of the furniture for my household so Ive had practice. I added extra storage containers, hooks, and contact paper to the drawer bottoms and fronts for a pretty contrast. I am very happy with my choice of island. That said the stainless steel top leaves much to be desired. It scratches very easily and the adhesive to the board underneath is not strong, when I wash I can tell they are separating. I didnt expect much from reading other reviews and it doesnt affect functionality.
Took a while to put together but as long as you follow the instructions carefully you should be good. Sturdier than thought it was going to be. Not a big fan of how easy it smudges but just have to keep it tidy.
