I decided to give this table 4/star rating instead of a 5 because it can easily chip, while putting some of the screws in, the wood split causing the screws not to be secured properly and I think it is over priced. Yes, it is just as described and this was the style I was looking for but I would not repurchase this item. It was not difficult to put together and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would recommend but if you have the time to shop around, I would do just that. Thats All Folks (In my Bugs Bunny Voice Very cute.
I read the reviews before purchasing and I was alittle concerned about assembly because numerous people had problems with it. However, assembly was no problem. It is pictorial so if you understand pictures, youll be fine. Everything is labeled with numbers that correlate to the pictures and is easy to follow. It is particle board as opposed to real wood, but its what you should expect at this price point. It looks very nice and is a good size so I really have no complaints. It is exactly what I needed for my entryway and organized all of my keys, mail and papers. Love it.
The metal pegs that are used in the locking system were TOO small for the hole. I highly suggest to screw these in by hand. I used a battery operated drill and because the holes were too small the fast turning easily ruined so many holes and bulked the area around the hole or chipped away the painted area from the chip board. This was the most frustrating part of putting this console table together.
I also had to ask for a replacement part for the drawer because one piece was missing in the box because they put in 2 of the wrong boards. Such a hassle but this kind of table cannot be found anywhere else and in the finished stage it is nice. Better directions.

Aming but sticky.
I love love love! But i had to wash a lot of the pieces. They had like some kind of lubricant on them. Very nice.
Entry way table

Poor instructions
Some of the instructions are not easy to follow. The screw holes in the top piece were just a hair too small and I had a hard time getting all the screws in. This was a nightmare to assemble.
Side bar was cracked
It came damaged and was a pain to put together Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
